I feel sure I've already asked this but can't find the post. Sorry.

Anyway, I can't get adaptive vsync to stick. I set it and it just keeps reverting to application controlled. It's happened on .48, .60 and .75

    Is this just me?

Frostbyte uses direct compute for certain things and 7970 "can" be faster then a 780 there, check gpu openCL super pi benchmark.. And nvidia still at openCL 1.1 and this can be slower too.. OpenCL1.2 is already supported 100% with r343+, but dunno why they dont upgrade to 1.2 yet..

Don't think it the case TJ, either someone is lying in benchmarks or seriously nvidia released the wrong driver with the right notes.

NVIDIA hasn't made any comment yet.

Same issue with PhysX here, I also got this with the 344.48 drivers.

Download the PhysX stand alone package, use it to first uninstall PysX, then reinstall PhysX with it. and it will work.

So, reading all posts, worth the upgrade from 344.11?

This driver is still bad for Far Cry 4 and even made Dragon Age Inquisition run worse than the previous. Game ready ? Yeah, rite. Rolled back to 344.48 here, at least with them Dragon Age Inquisition runs flawlessly, Far Cry 4 at this moment is a mess no matter what.

The driver seems to be fine for me.

Speaking of performance, I noticed COD Ghosts runs worse with 4xmsaa vs older 344.48 or icafe 344.47, before min ~60-65fps, now ~ 40-50fps similar places

    - Whiteout
    - StoneHeaven (especially here)

Have to lower to 2xMSAA to get the same performance back.

Could you write some more details, what exactly did you compare (Ingame-Settings) ? Are you sure that it's not about the latest game-patch?

All game settings were the same as the previous driver. Already installed the latest patch while using the older driver. Lost 10-15 fps in multiplayer with the new driver.

I actually did a clean install of the driver and used DDU.

What do you mean by check files? All files and game settings were the same as the previous driver. I lost 10-15 fps in multiplayer just by installing this new driver.

I'm thinking of reverting back to 334.65 but MFAA works great with BF4.

I am currently back on 344.60, because my old system SSD died and i rolled back to sunday image backup, but Vsync is sticking for me on adaptive.

    Edit: on .75 as well.

Arma 3 right-click on the game and select Properties from the steam menu.
Select the Local files tab and click the Verify integrity of game cache button.
