Was hunting for a Honey Badger, which was fighting with Rabid Dogs, meanwhile a Rhino did me in from behind. 10/10

My god the negative mouse acceleration...... What developer thinks to himself that this is a good way to play a game?

According to lord Ubi you should play with a gamepad and enjoy the magnificently tight controls :nerd:

Does MSI Afterburner works with FC4 ?
The game crashes after 5-7 sec when I click PLAY

    Stuttering like hell.

Assassins Creed Unity is running far better.

I remember FC3 ran better once you tweaked frames to render ahead, does this game also have build in frames to render ahead?

No, but it has triple buffering in-game option and a "sparse" vsync option, which is basically just in-game adaptive vsync.

Ah ok, then maybe try driver frame to render ahead, instead of auto app controlled.

Did you play FarCry3? if you did then you would know :)

FC3 had build in frames to render ahead option, gpu 1 frame to render ahead, 2 frames, 0 frames to render ahead,..

Try turning triple buffering ON in advanced settings. Use SMAA for AA.

Well, I was speaking of a direct in-game option. I wouldn't go higher than 3.

There're some values that you cant modify directly ingame. Maybe edit those settings in .xml can help someone.

I tried that but still stutter.

Seems like many other are having same problem and people are complaining in steam forums.

Waiting on some reviews since it's a Ubisoft game.. unfortunately because of their review embargos it may be a while :/

So far it seems like most people enjoy the game.. with some minor bugs..

Far Cry 4 has the exact same stutter issues I had with Far Cry 3 when that first released. And this is from moving on from a HD 7770 1GB to a R9 270 2GB card.

    Utter fail Ubisoft.

Yeah the stuttering I do get as well now. Maybe its an engine related issue because of the streaming of assets.

I never had stutter issues with Far Cry 3. Unsure about Far Cry 4 yet, as I only had time to install, mess with the settings. Will see tonight how it plays.

I've played the prologue mission so far.
It auto set everything to High... and I just left it there.

It doesn't perform as smoothly as FC3... but it's still very playable. Frame rates average around the 45 mark, very often going higher.
I only say it dip lower during the opening scene with Pagan Min... and even then it was only for a few seconds.

Running the newest driver from Nvidia, the one that's "Game Ready" for FC4...
I have very occasional stutter, but it's pretty much only when going to a new area.
