Not surprised but still runs like crap in COD:AW with sli 780s. A lot of drops and poor scaling.

Is it just me who can see this trend from both nvidea and amd products.
People praise when they have a sli or a crossfire profile within the drivers or a fix of some kind.
Just seems idiotic for game developers to use game engine setups that are not configured already within that drivers for both venders.

You don't have to update your office to read a word doc do you or adobe to open a pdf file.
Why is it everything around game engine setups is just a war against common sense when there constantly using none optimised game engine setups when there are perfectly working profiles already setup for that game engine.
There would be no need for this pointless exercise then.

    Boycot the game developers..
If there is no working profile before game release don't buy it its as simple as that.
They will get there act together then.

Does this fix the Nvidia Driver crash in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare on certain cards? (580, 660). Also any other CoD improvements? The map Defender has SERIOUS issues, for the first minute or two I will go from 90fps to the low 20s and it's the same for everyone I know and there's countless posts about it on Reddit.

I think I'm going to be updating my drivers alot this month with ACU, Far Cry 4 and Dragon Age all per-ordered! :bang: One release for all would of been ideal.

Probably not, but I'm gonna install and test anyway, seeing as they seem to have reverted their driver branch back to 343.

These also have the newest CUDA 6.5.29, 344.48 had 6.5.20 I think, dunno about 344.60 atm.

For Single player Of COD: Advanced Warfare
Turn OFF "Cache sun shado Maps" , "Cache spot Shadow maps" and "Shader Preload)
Everything else you can put at max (except of course the Supersampling that is heavyly taxing)
For me with my GTX690 its not stuttering and with those settings, it also allow to skip cinematic.

If you have cinematic stutter/slowdown / skipping sound, disable Vsync (Frame sync).

    sarcasm mode "ON":
so if i send you an office doc "made" with O 2013 and you have 2003 or 2007 installed, does MS give you a free update to the newest one??
    "off"

    1. to me, sli doesnt make sense unless you already have the "largest" single chip gpu available and no other means of perf gain, since the next bigger card will (normally) provide better performance without any sli/crossfire related probs (hard/software).

    2. if i look at the price for the largest/2nd largest amd/nvidia gpu in sli or CF, plus all hardware needed to run that properly (psu/cpu/board/case/cooling), it will be a pretty expensive rig as well,
so compared to the "average" user, its a lot less people running "those" configs, compared to non-sli-users, so why would those companies spend money on optimisations for a smaller group of users?
