Feel happy for the Williams team. Their One-Two Grid lockout in a long long time.... Lets see if they can keep that place in the Race...... And Hamilton screwed up big time. It seems pressure is getting to him.
just quoting that, you dont make the natural driving line when you are being overtaken, its not "ey cmon guy overtake me", as long as perez did not do any very strange movement one milisecond before the crash, it was massas fault.
I am really happy to see Massa on P1. He deserves to win the race after beeinging Ferraris number 3 driver for such a long time.
Just watched the race. The season is alive again. Best of all, Damon Hill popped in for a meal with his wife where I work on his way back from Silverstone, they come regularly but I've only been there a month so it was a first for me (his wife and kids came a couple of weeks ago on Sunday when he was in Austria with Sky F1). The man is a, legend, love Damon haha.
the way Kimi crashed was uh oh. There was chance for really bad injury there. Yet the man first thing, asked "how is massa doing?" Nice to see Bottas getting up there one more position up and another finn to win.
Lewis is so unlucky. Rosberg was saved by the red flag yesterday. I'm off the GP today. There are thunderstorms approaching from the South-East so hopefully that will give Lewis a chance to get into the mix.
*bump* Up next: Spa! Interesting/exciting news how Max Verstappen will start in F1 coming March...not only was his father Jos an F1 driver, but his mother was a talented race driver as well (that's how they met). Both Max Verstappen and Nyck de Vries are the future of Dutch motor racing. Nyck is currently in McLaren's young driver program, and I expect to see him in F1 as well, eventually.
lol, thread dead for so long.. not surprising i guess, another horrid season. Looks like FA is out and deep into his contract discussions with Honda
Today's newspapers are reporting "Vettel to Ferrari?" There are a lot of rumors and I wouldn't appreciate that move.
Vettel leaving Red Bull, confirmed by the man himself. Alonso's move hasn't gotten confirmation yet but come on, we know it's happening. More surprising is Vettel's replacement: Red Bull confirm their 2015 driver line up is Ricciardo and Kvyat. Verge got snubbed.
So Alonso was beat to announcing his move.. Vettel may not be quite as good - but given a good car he can make it fly, too bad Ferrari haven't been able to create a such in over a decade
And now BBC is reporting confirmation of Vettel to Ferrari. No official word on Alonso to McLaren yet.
