Must resist opening up 980 GTX cards in case AMD releases a new GPU,so I can sell 980 cards as new. Man this stuff is driving me nuts,I think I need drink some beer .
Would be funny if AMD just announce new hardware virtualization method which allows multiple systems to share hardware directly including GPUs.
Did they ever get Mantle supported on GCN 1.0 cards? Not that I have any Mantle games mind, just wondered.
Do you mean like Original release of Mantle for BF4 and it is working since then for GCN 1.0? It took just month and half to get those micro freezes out, and since then it is way better than DX.
I hope whatever next gpu they release will have SRGSSAA enabled for every mode DX9-12, opengl and mantle and USABLE up to 4K @ 60 FPS in Crysis 3! I'm just itching for an upgrade to 4K but so far, nothing really out there other than 295x2 or 7x0/9x0 SLI but those are still running on the lower side. Bring it AMD!
6 months is my deadline really. This 290x is not giving me what I wanted and AMD is well, AMD. But I don't know about nVidia either. I'll play the waiting game.
Fiji was planned to 2015, but Bermuda was supposed for late 2014. While what India twitter wrote looks sad at best for GPU department we will not know till that announcement is out. Good job on derailing the thread. And how many people were back then? And look at how many people still are now and how much things have gone backwards. What EVGA did recently is pretty far was worse in actual relation to computer hardware then your petty dismantle on what he really has to anything AMD is supposedly doing is so now horrible.
If i had to make a parallelism between Nvidia's announcement and ATI's, Nvidia is the BingF*Bang and ATI is the formation of a small satellite, called Moon.
Amd had their bling-bling last month with their 285 announcement. Which i personally found way more entertaining than the nvidia stream with those atrocious announcers and Jensen claiming Nvidia invented everything from the GPGPU to the Programmable Shader. lol
