Nvidia Geforce 344.16 BETA Driver

You meen driver crashes? I have much crashes with my Asus gtx980, underclock to 1000mhz and still get driver crashes in Metro LL and Dead rising 3

 

Benchmark to with RTS on?

 

Played Dead Rising 3 for an hour on 1920x1200 maxed out setting...then it crashed with this error using these new drivers on my GTX 980!

Throughout the game, my card was running at 1,367 MHz on the core (it is an EVGA SC model clocked at 1,240 MHz) and temperatures were around 67 degrees C as I'm using a custom fan profile.

I guess the crashing issue is not quite fixed with this game after all...

 

Well, Manuel did say the problem is still persistent with the new driver branch. So now we probably have to wait till the next NVIDIA driver/game patch.

 

I was going to ask exactly this. So, it didn't change anything but this compatibility thing.

I dl'ed these drivers, but I'm not going to have trouble tweaking and installing them to have no improvements.

I am switching back to 344.11, too many people are having issues, even though I do have a Maxwell card.

 

I got 780ti sli, had problems with 344.11 "driver stopped responding" it went away and back to normal with this driver tho!

 

You have to buy 980 in order to avoid them LoL...

 

gtx760 here, best driver for archeage so far,i can play it with overclocked card,while with previous drivers i coudn't

344.11 works fine with Archeage

 

This driver fix the driver craches in metro redux.

 

For me not, the frequencies resetted to default after getting driver not responding error. I don't know,people say this are same as 344.11,but maybe not so true.otherwise i woudn't explain why with 344.16 i have no problems with my overclock.

I can't get fullscreen to work with Just Cause 2 no matter what I do with this driver. Also, look at the clouds. They are seriously messed up.

If ManuelG is looking my PC is in my sig and everything was on max in the game apart from now AA. No mods or anything.

 

do i need this driver ? my 980 is arriving soon

 

I would say yes, It was specifically released because of a bug with the 970/980 cards. The 344.16 WHQL version was released today so you might as well get that one, although there won't be any difference.

 

I think I killed my card....I installed the new 344.16 and now all of my games are crawling @ 22-44 fps. I will uninstall and try again. If that doesnt help 344.11.

 

I didn't have driver crashing on my GTX 780 SLI, but I had one crash in BF4 on my GTX 980 on this set so far.

Driver stopped responding.
