I wish samsung would make some sort of kind of these monitors, the S27A950D still stands out against the VG236H from Asus in color wise, blackwise, and sharpness wise, i am just curious now about this review how the sharpness is on this thing is it more blurry or less duel to the higher resolution ?

I know that glossy screens got better color and sharpness, but how how is it compared against a QHD from this one ?

$1098 in Sweden - quite expensive.

Guys, i would really like to buy a new monitor and I'm thinking this one or the AOC 34 inch 21:9 monitor. Since I always play with Vsync I was thinking that the Swift might be a better option than the AOC, also since the AOC is only 60Hz?

Next question is that I only have a single 780Ti and I'm worried that it wont like 1440p at all. Is it recommended to have 780SLI or better? If so, would a 850W PSU handle it? It's a pretty hefty upgrade in terms of $$$ buying the Swift and another 780Ti (plus maybe a better PSU). So the next obvious question would be if my 3570K @ 4,4GHz will cope.

    Thanks in advance.

I just did a quick check, in Austria you could by that one for 730€, Germany close to 800€, in Great Britain slightly above 630 pounds, all excluding shipping

If you don't need to max everything out,it should be ok. Just don't crank up AA. If the game has a shadows setting, put it on low. Personally, until they come out with a monitor just like the ASUS but with an IPS panel,I won't buy one. Just can't do the TN panel.

    Allright then, thanks.

And btw, they say IPS panels are just too slow for 144Hz so I dont know if that will ever happen. Apparently this TN panel is absolutely top quality. You can't find a better TN than this.

My hp monitor works great. I have no tearing, games are smooth, evidently, I'm missing something.

Got the monitor yesterday and I almost only have positive feedback. The image is clear and very sharp, 144Hz is so fluid and G-sync a work of god.

I now completely understand people talking about 120Hz like it's something fantastic because it is and it has to be experienced to grasp the awesomeness of it.

Gsync worked on all games but the Adventures of Van Helsing. Also Watch Dog made my computer restart upon exit. The 144Hz mode can be a bit tricky for some games.
