When you look at the sky, is it black? I mean in real life.

I have rain just fine. Try sleeping in the safehouse for 2 days or so, It is random so you may have to try a few times.

 

I just wanted to say black night, not "black black" but it's not a big problem. The game is just awesome now. Thanks for your work!!!

 

This is true. The sky would only be pitch black in the country. Chicago has light pollution like any other city. I'm from DC, and this matches the sky at night very closely.

 

I've also not had any problem with rain. Played the new mod for almost 2 hours and had all kinds of weather.

hi the worse 0.97c is bang on. and with ur sweetfx settings icin on the cake. in past versions ive been able to lock at 30fps and be inbeetween 80 to 90% gpu usage. with 0.97c when around a lot of trees and grass im droppin to 24/26 fps. anyone know what I need to change to tone down the foliage but keep rest of looks the same. Thanks

I've noticed that too. I keep restarting my game after downloading the latest version of the mod for comparison's sake, and with .97c when I get to the the birthday party mission, the game slows down something fierce to 20FPS when that neighborhood populates.

Also, quick question. I have the 0.8 tool installed, and the .97c files in the proper folders. Are the two working against one another? Or does one, override the other?

 

fantastic preformence now and the nights looks stunning.

my super minior problem is the fog since the 0.7 fog was perfect for me and it makes the game feel so immersive.

Anyone confirm sweetfx working with win8.1 based in the sweetfx install process on thread 2?

 

I got sweet fx working on 8.1 but not with the Worse's settings, turns the screen black, gonna edit it later using the advice in this thread, page 2 from member Xiga. Can you get me link to the "sweetfx install process on thread 2" please.

found the DoF effect person in 0.7 much rathered how it behaved there compared to .97c

 

Also disappointing the coat blowing still isnt present
