"Environment is now effective to bullets ". Are you trying to say that if you shoot water that it will splash? Or leaves will fall from trees when you shoot them? What do you mean by this?

Not sure what he means by that, as he never mentioned that to me. But no, bullets still only affect certain things. I don't think you'll ever get a way for bullets to affect water and such as they may not even be in the games code to begin with.

    i tried v5 beta
    at temporal smaa game crashes
msaa 4x game is playable with occasional stuttering
msaa 2x smooth gameplay but increased headlight flickering
dont know why it crashes with smaa, if you could make final version playable with temporal smaa that would be great for me.

So I installed the latest V5 Beta and when I start the game it crashes. My games are installed on a non windows drive and not in a default directory, on E:. Maybe this makes a difference? and I did point the installer to the correct directory 2 times and got the same results. Even tried a re-install. PS, love the graphics updates, please keep up the good work. thx

Mate, you need to put the correct direct . For Uplay is:

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Launcher\games\Watch_Dogs\

    For steam:

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Watch_Dogs\

Yes,anyone facing the Crashing issue might wanna rec-check these things!

Edit: If anyone facing similar crashing issues, please install the mod in your desktop or anywhere else, then copy the patch.dat/fat to your watch_dogs-->data_win64!

Mee too and I agree :)

I unpacked Sunset's patch files and copied \graphics\_textures\ and \graphics\_textures_current_gen\ folders to v5 beta unpacked files (overwriting existing files) and packed again. I deleted gamerprofile.xml and the game generated a clean one to ensure better results.

Now I playing ultra textures and a mix of high/ultra ingame custom settings with some aceptable stuttering, good framerate and superb graphics :) For AMD users I recommend try borderless window instead fullscreen, I get a little less FPS but smoother gameplay.

Best combo so far! Thanks and keep improving

What do you mean by packed again? Is is something to overwrite?

I had this problem too, the installer didn't overwrite the patch file. Once done manually the game plays and looks so much better than it ever has, only a little stuttering. Playing with high textures, TSMAA, high shadows and everything else on ultra. Thanks for the wonderfull job, waiting for v5 final.

Try to copy the files manually after decrompressing in an other directory, mine didn't overwrite auto and this did the job.

Are you familiar with packing/unpacking patch.fat/dat files?

Please read my Maldo's+Kadzait guide, skip point 4 and replace point 6 with that previous post to merge Sunset's textures v3+Supersourav99 Mod v5beta... or wait for v5 final :)

Probably not today. I have to wait for someone to send me some files over so I can upload it for Sourav, as I have the fastest internet out of our group. And he'll be sending over the files to upload in about 4-5, and due to time zones I'll be asleep by then, so when I get up Sourav will be asleep, and I'll have the files uploaded, then I'll have to wait for Sourav to wake up so he can edit the post.

It will more than likely be tomorrow, which is the day we planned for anyway.
