Centralized Thread for all Watch Dogs Mods: Let's work together!

On another note I've compiled the files needed to make graphic and performance improvements. I have a template made from the best parts of TW and Kadzaits, and another with the same vanilla files. I'm going to do some testing with different settings to get similar effects without hindering performance. Right now the TW and Kadzait template looks really good, but performs slower than TW v0.8. The Worse does seem to be releasing v0.9, but we'll see what happens. I'll keep doing my own testing in the mean time.

 

I wonder somebody manage to find Baretta M92f/M9 and swapped it over PX4?
Too bad Ubisoft remove it in actual release.

No need to beg me, once 0.97 is released, you can test it by yourself. If there are no bugs, then 1.0v is released the same day.

Ok but can you also work with any modders that come on here? Like if they have questions about the textures, can you help them? Were trying to make some progress without having to rely on how The Worse is feeling today.

If you don't appreciate the point of this thread there are plenty of others to choose from. The point of this was to consolidate WD modding discussions and remove the need for multiple threads being opened. It's also to remove ourselves from the ridiculous amount of drama that's been going on recently.

Sunset, the effect is similar to lowering settings, but true it does yield a better result. I did actually suggest them when someone asked about a mod to lower the games features to minimize cpu bottle necking. I just personally don't like things that degrade graphics, so it's just not my cup of tea.

On subject: Doing some more testing. I probably cant, or atleast wouldn't do anything similar to Kadzait's texture upgrades so I had originally included them. They do add more detail and the particle tweaks look good too, but it's a pretty big hit on performance and I don't think the effect is so noticeable it's worth fixing. I don't plan to include Maldo's textures either. They do increase performance some, but I don't find them as detailed, and with the other tweaks performance should be fine. I'll keep testing things out, but I'm wondering how necessary another WD mod will be. TW is mentioning more and more about release v.9 on his blog (though I see no link for it anywhere) and there are already two or three other mods that work quite well too. I'll take my time with this for now and see what happens.

Textures are so important for modern Video Games.
If they wouldn´t why would you do a Texture patch then.
