i really wonder why people find it to low i just looked @ some PS4 results and the trees are really behaving nicely in the wind i really wonder why to change it @ all ?

Just look @ the wind simulation results in a PS4 Let's Play in a Storm it's very intense, i didn't tested vanila storms myself yet but i think that looks ok on the PS4 would be surprised if it fails in vanilla on the PC ?

or do people want all the time the stormy conditions even @ a nice sunny day ? (totally unrealistic)

i use this as a reference point for the overall light and weather reactions

Well thats colorgrading my friend and unfortunately I wont change it. You may nevertheless configure your sweetfx to add more blue or green to the image. this is a lighting setting meant to look like that in that area of the city. the colors are created by the lighting according to how strong it is. Thats just the color of the light. Changing that wont make it look any better for me.

without tonemapping it would surely not look so film noir stylish but that is way to much yellow warm colors for a night illuminated scene , looks like a detective movie from the 50s (lol) :D

and using a external tonemapping from sweetfx is wrong if you can do it internally more efficient else you lose valuable data due to rounding errors.

I don't have any issues at all. Did you change all the gamerprofile tweaks and installed the original game? Because it may not work correctly if you play it on the pirated version.

I have a question, how do I change the speed of the time of day? It is extremely fast right now.

The lights behave very realistically, it's very impressive. The picture you chose looks strange indeed from a shaders perspective. But if you look again that's because Aiden's suit is wet at that moment. The weird shading you see is intentional to create the shimmering wet look. If the suit is dry, it''s very different.

Annd whyy do you bring up the PS4? Can't you test the wind's behaviour in vanilla with your PC? Because that's the right way to compare

    Hey Lunayah,

nice to see the topic reopened. :)

Request: Your version of the mod looks great. The most refined yet, it seems. There is just one thing: The DoF.

Could you please make a version without DoF? Really, I wont ask for anything special apart from that. Give me bloom, give me performance optimization, just not the DoF. :D

    Thanks in advance.

Yes and no. Let me explain a bit:

First why I dislike DoF during gameplay. I'm shortsighted and when DoF is always there it feels like I lost my glasses.

And second why I prefer to leave it enabled in the game options; it's because this gives me DoF just in the cutscenes. DoF (for me) is a movie-effect, that is totally fine during cutscenes or movies or whenever I'm not actively playing. ;)

Im sorry about the stuttering but its not the mod. crank down the graphics setting and textures to run it more smooth.:)

I get it but just unpack it and delete the camera.lib. that should do it.:)

I will really like to satisfy you all with different versions but it just take too much time that I dont have for coding.

Wow...could you please e-mail me this...send it to last week or so. :D Seriously, I wish someone had told me earlier. DoF is the only gripe I had with any version of any WD-mod to date. ^^

    PS: It's the "cameracontext.lib", right?
