the only way i found to make daylight good, was to remove the environment/tweak settings " clear " , but that mean no more beautiful sunlight at sunset for example, i didnt find any weather setting in between " clear " and cloudy/grey that completely hide the sunlight

Hmm I thought going no-patch would fix no-sun day time with less fog, maybe it has less fog but still it prevents the sun from appearing then... I think this is fixable, achieving E3 visuals all around shouldn't mean no sun during daytime I think.

So I always have to play in "offline mode"? Doesn't that take away from some of the online stuff?

How about if we could get Kadzait, TheWorse, Maldo, Vaas, Boss and as bonus Durante from Neogaf, to all work together and form an all-star team to tackle this game.

In my opinion, this is by far the best mod for this game, by combining this with TheWorse mod + MaldoHD ultra texture optimization + Vaas Dynamic DOF settings, this would blow E3 away and realize the vision Ubisoft developers had for this game. It would actually be a tribute to their work.

A video I just recorded with the official 1.3 patch and this mod:
    www.youtube.com/watch?v=_oUmc1HJJqg

It blew my mind. I can walk the streets for hours. This has amazing atmosphere, which is lacking in theWorse's mod.

I'm re-downloading the game to try it out without the patch. :)

because it is based on 5.0 beta2

Maybe you can combine by yourself,

by the way ,combine is easy and foolish and maybe get some wrong:){)

Wow, man, great mod! I honestly didn't think it would look as good as it does, so major respect. I'm currently running it using the 'E3 2012 Reminiscent (Realistic Updated)' SweetFX preset (@100% brightness) and i think it looks frickin amazing.

A few things i've noticed so far:

    1. Visual fidelity greatly enhanced. I had been using the 'other' mod, but visually yours is on another level entirely.
    2. Rain looks amazing!!! But it does seem to rain an awful lot! In fact, does it ever actually stop? ;-)
3.Whilst i was driving around, testing performance, after a while i got a strange rain glitch, whereby the rain would start to display sort of like a curtain. So i would approach the static 'curtain' of intense rain (more intense than the normal rain), then when i would pass through it, another would appear about 20m ahead and it would just repeat. Looked a bit weird, and it happened whether i was driving or on foot (sorry i can't post a pic or vid). If i fast-travelled it went away. Haven't tested enough to see it come back yet.
    4. Performance. 100% this should be the focus of this mod now. I'm sure you will add more stuff before long, but it already looks great as it is, so a performance gain would benefit the majority of people the most right now. I'm gaming at 1440p on a 780Ti and it is noticeably jerkier than it was before (or even compared to the 'other' mod). Please note, i am not using the 1.03 Ubi patch, just the Day 1 patch. I have set everything to Ultra, but turned Textures and Shadows to High, and am not using any AA at all. On foot is fine, but driving definitely has more stutter than before, maybe juuust enough to make it unplayable for me.

I tried setting textures to Medium and it fixed the stuttering while driving, but it also removed a lot of the visual flair which i can't do without. Does anyone have any 'tricks' (e.g xml tweaks) to gain back some performance without having to compromise too much on the extra eye candy? Cos i'm keeping this mod active now. I can't go back!
