    Those percentages seem unusual to me. I'm completely wrong, but prior to reading that article, I always had AMD as the leader for server chips due to the price/heat factors. How wrong was I....

    nope. in majority server environment, the management (of organization) _only_ have the idea that Intel is the sole server chipmaker.

    I believe it was the news about the number two on this list: http://s.top500.org/static/lists/2014/06/TOP500_201406.xls which is where my misunderstanding came from.
