Open your Steam library and right click your game and choose properties. Now click the update tab and under where it says "automatic updates", click the arrow on the drop down window and change 'always keep this game up to date" to "do not automatically update this game". Reinstall the mod and now your game will not update and overwrite the patch.

I'll still be fond of Ubisoft to a degree because I loved the Myst Uru pc game which is published by Ubi. It has online play that's right Myst multiplayer and you can still play it online. But graphics are much better overall in Watch Dogs and other titles because of the textures. Myst Uru has good art design but the textures don't even compare to Watch Dogs. I'm a graphics enthusiast so I migrate from one game to another mostly based on the visuals. A bit shallow but I can't help it. That's why I revere Crysis 3 and Witcher 2 so much. And Watch Dogs of course.

I made it too quickly yesterday. Maybe steam users have to write game path into config file because the tool looks for watch dogs folder in the uplay configuration into the windows registry.

Maldo, loved your work for crysis 2, any chance you could do an ultra texture pack for watch dogs after ubisoft patched the game recently beceause the older ultra textures mod isn't working properly with the latest patched game I have lots of stutter...

Have to re do some configs and stuff, it's crazy but sometimes when you start the game the flickering of the shadows appears and some times its non existent. I think it also depends of your antialiasing config, your res or if you are running the game on fullscreen or border mode.

Or maybe because it just does it after the first time. Also I had to reduce the rain intensity etc. So I'll upload the version without the texture pack and the files updated, and then upload the files again with the textures because my upload speed its reaaally slow.

What was the reason for the rain reduction?
Looking forward for the upload of the tool and mod. Also did you get my PM I sent around 3 days ago?

    Cheers buddy!

This explains why they removed headlight shadows from the game, it is a engine bug maybe.

It's not the engine, it's the headlights! Car engine runs fine...
