Thank you so much for the new screens, they look absolutely incredible.

I can't ever imagine a better contrast and color balance than 0.8+your sweetfx preset the wait is killing me

 

First post here. Would like to thank theWorse, Maldo and Vaas for making this all possible. Maldo helped the stuttering to a manageable level for me while Vaas and theWorse made the eyecandy exist.

It's such a shame that crossfire is sooo badly optimized, when using it I even get worse FPS. Smh...

 

Any word from Sunset and his stuttering fix? I REALLY want the stuttering to be gone...Maldo's didn't really do much.

 

Can't wait for v0.8! Did you put the day & night cycle back to default values?

 

Where is the topic? and why isnt it this topic, this topic is flooded with people asking for release, then next release, then next release. Whats the point if you aren't appreciating the progress sharing screenshots, ideas and helpful hints.

Okay, in all of this finding new features and what not!!!

Is anyone optimizing the game for better frame rates... ?

I mean its all good getting more graphical fidelity, but surely its at a cost of performance!!!


I get a solid 30fps (capped) with the latest (0.7b/Vass/1.03/maldo)
Using my own SweetFX (DPX/Vibrance/Curves) only

Work on disguising the LOD-DOF = FOUR-STREET-BLOCKS c1:

 

Ohhh you are waiting for the configurator and not the maldo texture pack ! Okayyyy, well it's worth the wait for the configurator, that is a must have.

From Ubisoft forums:
Use Steam's "launch properties" or make a shortcut for the game EXE and set this parameter: -disablepagefilecheck. If you use the shortcut method, navigate to your installation directory and make a shortcut to watch_dogs.exe. Now, for the shortcut, go to its properties and at Target, add a space to the end and paste in the parameter. The more RAM you have, the better this should work, and this can cause instability with lower amounts.

 

Can somebody PLEASE give me a link to download TheWorse 0.7 that can work with the new Watch Dogs update? Steam Auto installed it and it won't work and I haven't got to try it yet.

Stops the game from fetching data from the page file that's stored on your storage device.
