    Gracias.

First of all, thank you for the interest and effort for others to enjoy the best of this game, which Ubisoft has done.
    * And my question is, when do you get the mod 0.8 officially? Like what you said, but my English is bad.
    Thank you.

yes, but i have to modified it, slightly. :(
The good thing is now we can edit the preset, exactly like what we doing with regular SweetFX setting files (toggle ON and OFF, reload edited values, etc). :D
    It also compatible with BF4 64bit, COD:Ghost, etc... (64bit games with Windows 8.1 64bit)

I'm sorry for that. Let's say that is my credit and salute for eFX creator :)

Important question. I somewhat understand how to edit values and what not to touch, but simple enough question, because of the format being binhex it's pretty tedious to figure out exactly what becomes enabled/disabled changed overall

For example. Im looking at vehiclepartsdamage_converted.xml and inside that I see the 2 files that the xml refers to inside the folder vehiclepartdamage_converted. That makes sense, but the part that I can't understand is after opening up default.generic.xml in Notepad++ it goes

    • <object hash"72DE4948"> (which is a 4 byte value)

After that there is 4 field hash values which coincides to the "Array of byte" from the object hash

    • <field hash="61FC6B02" type="BinHex" />
    • <field hash="9D8873F8" type="BinHex">44656661756C742E47656E6572696300</field> (Why is there a 16 byte array when the encoding is UTF-8? Seems like all the XML files with hash codes has a few of these)
    • <field hash="B9295CC7" type="BinHex">9A664843</field>
    • <field hash="389F6DA7" type="BinHex">9A664843</field>

Or I am completely misinterpreting it.

What Im asking, is am I able to find these through mem address search on Cheat Engine, or do I have to use a HEXEditor and find the data manually, edit, save, repack

    TLDR: Guess & check tediously

Any tips on being able to figure out which binhex's connect to what?

I guess I have to know a lot more than I do, or I'm over thinking it. Friendly suggestions welcome. I just don't know much about hex editing to this degree.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. PM me/Reply to post either/or.

Or should I give up, I feel like I don't know what I'm talking about, or I'm making more complicated than it should be.

I second this, I just want to see the changes made, and try to see how they were made in comparison to original.

Google finds it easily enough http://www.dsogaming.com/news/watch...u-enjoy-ultra-textures-on-gpus-with-2gb-vram/

That's inappropriate, if he wants to initially privately beta test that's his prerogative, disrespecting that by trying to trade it from someone he entrusted is a sure fire way to ensure those people willing to put in the time and effort to improve the game for us will stop.

Jesus H christ, this is a pain. Is there an easy way to merge mods? I'm having to go through and compare the code of every file that there is a duplicate of in both MalDO's stutter fix and Vaas Medium DOF + 7.0b and 1.03.

The problem is there is 9 files...and each one is a pain. Just got done with most of the .xml files, but now I need to compare the lib's and a really weird xml that seems to still be encoded.

This is so weird. Someone is going around asking sites to delete the links. The link is mysteriously no longer active in my Mega account either.

    Ubisoft being asshats?
