I made some example screenshots to show what I mean - but must post 10 posts - lol what an idiotic rule

anyway I can explain what I did to them:

I took out about 20% colors and made some slight color shifts: yellow and green to blue and slight violet

I made an account just to congrats vaas and theworse, u guys have been the best and I appreciate every time yah have put into this. Theworse test what u like man I know people can give you negative feedback but don't take it personal. Every one wants/likes different things. Just keep doing what u do.

Vaas im digging your dof man its just a little rough on the blur when it's adjusting to the focus. But keep it up that's what I call dynamic dof. Other might not dig it but I think it's the best I experience so far.

    I'm out

Now spotlight volumes are working properly. They are not perfect but its something that adds a feeling of environment as well.

    or even more dark:

    ..

@ the worse: is sth. like this possible? its only color shifting / desaturation. nothing funky that takes calculation time from the GPU

Yeah it is possible. I could make the blue-ish preset of the colorgrading to be like that.

    made a smaller comparison:

please help me to achieve that somehow. ingame night color looks gamey like Gta IV else...

    THX theWorse! THX very much!

its not so bad at country side but in the big cities this would help a lot!

I hope Watch dogs has 2 profiles one for night and onbe for day, like Skyrim had.. else we only can choose one good setting and only play at night or day which would be a shame... (did some extensive skyrim modding ;) )

Sorry for the long post, catching up with this fast thread!
please feel free to post a spoiler tagged excerpt from the text inside your XML so we can see exactly what changes and optimizations you made, thanks!
I actually like the idea of using 1 driving camera without DOF (cam1) and using the second one with DOF (cam2). because when i get in a car its usually to chase or drive somewhere specific and DOF doesnt help with those normal driving situations, so the DOF shouldn't be on the first driving camera, know what i mean?
Okay, I'll go ahead and test it and let you know. Thanks!
i like that idea of newer cards with bluer lights, great addition.
okay, you crushed the blacks completely. That is not something you want a modder to do to a mod like this, you can add this kind of effect with SweetFX, lookup some of the available presets.
awesome, cant wait to play around with them!

Are these also present in downward-facing lamp/point lights throughout the city?

    Hi guys first post!:)

I tried both the 0.6 version and the 0.7 and honestly i liked the more natural colors of the 0.6. I didn't like the excessive DOF though. Is there a version of the 0.6 with DOF that's not so nearsighted and more responsive like the later versions of the 0.7?

    Thank you!

Good riddance. Anyone who says this "isn't playable" is not only a liar, but clearly has an agenda.

    http://youtu.be/18zpeCwKLBU

That video was done at 1080p with everything on Ultra, 4xTXAA, 1.03 patch, TheWorse 0.7b, Vaas DoF.

Looks pretty playable to me. Frames were consistently around 50.

its actually something many games do wrong. we dont see (many / much / so much) colors at night. it has biological reasons.

Thanks for that update! But could you make the first version with the ubisoft update? That one seems better to me. Or what about making the dof closer and a little thicker when Aiden is standing still? :look:

is it possible to have separate color profiles for night in Wtachdogs like it was possible in skyrim? (in skyrim there have 3 settings if I am remembering correct)
