Does Enhanced DoF have the same value as the 0.6 version of TheWorse mod?

 

Enhanced DoF is the .7 Dof. Normal is vanilla DoF setting

 

Hey, great work with this mod. It's sad in the end that fan came up with a fix for this game before the developer, but you've done a great job restoring it to our exceptions. I've only read the first post since the the thread's gotten pretty long so this may have been mentioned, but I've seen there's some concern that Ubisoft might remove the files and stuff your mod fixes to restore the game in their official patch. Keeping uplay and the WD in offline mode isn't really realistic so I was wondering if there's any chance the files could be backed up for a potential patch if necessary. Particularly for those who don't currently have the game installed, if Ubisoft does actually do this than new users of the game wont be able to use the mod.

Right click > Open With > Notepad

But make sure to turn off the Read Only mode before ediiting :
Right click > properties > uncheck Read Only

And enable it again after you done :/
I would say "With notepad" first, but still in case you need the detail info of it

What's the difference between high settings set in the settings ;(((( and the "ultra" profile defined in xml?
The thing is game's performance is much better on high settings on my hw, don't wanna lose some cool features tho.

i dont really care about this confrontation for know who made the best mod or who was the first (for me nobody ^^) and personnaly i discovered this tweak really before than even kadzait post in this forum , some peoples were already searching for it ^^

the poblem with kadzait it s that in fact the changement he did in first was nothing greatly visible, what people made him noticed, but unfortunatly for him he cant accept critic and come in this character with an big ego

It's only at the top of your profile if you are using the IN GAME CUSTOM SETTING. Then go back to the xml and find _runtime. For example if in your game you have ultra selected as graphics option, the quality entry in the xml will not say runtime but rather ultra.

 

New to this so bare with me......
I have already installed TheWorse mod. Now I am trying to install Sweetfx. Need some help please.
1. Do i need both? (Sweetfx and theWorse Mod)
2. If yes, Need some help with locating the .exe file in watch dogs. I cant find it! I tried to hit start and search all exe file but it doesnt show up on the list. I also went to the watch dogs folder but i can locate it either.

your assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Tried it, runs around 40fps on R9 280 but the stuttering is awful, GPU us usage is inconstant. We really need patch before more moding...

 

I've been using this mod for a few days now, and with the latest updated I've found quite a few bugs. I've only managed to capture this so far, the rest will follow.

Bad Glass Reflexion

Have you noticed that?
Sit in front of a glass building, we do not see the reflection of Aiden.
In each reflection, we see any street.
This is the mod that does this for you? Or just a bug in the game?

 

hi everyone. I did every step of your tuto wich are download the different files and put them in dat_win64, i then changed the line you told in game profile. I then launch the game from steam but nothing changed. Did i did something wrong by any chance ?

EDIT : It's a portal to another world

So Basicly you have to pick what camera you like (Is it close (shoulder cam), normal (Normal game cam), or far (All of Aidens Body visible))

Different folder, different patch.dat and patch.fat
That 2 files are the one you have put on data_win64
So pick it.. open the folder.. put the files to data_win64

Have you done that or you just put every folder to data_win64 ? :bed:
