Is there anything I can tweak myself to tone down the DOF without simply disabling it altogether in the Options menu?

Even though Nvidia debunked it as non-functional ( this was before official release), some of the users who use my configuration tool have stated that it does change tree graphics slightly.

Find your launcher icon on your desktop\start menu > right click > open file location

Thanks for the shout-out. I'd love to work with the OP to incorporate his fix as a single button press automated install in my configuration tool.

I was using high textures before, with your patch the game is running smoother and looking better at the same time [IMG]

The "SkipMipFiles" command in render settings can improve performance also??

    Thank you very much!!

    Sure, just a minute

Use a decent text editor like Sublime 2 and find it with CTRL+F.

Its there in the RenderProfile tag

This is because you're playing on "Optimal" settings.
Open your game, change your graphic settings to "custom", then exit the game. Your gamerprofile.xml will now have this section.

Not sure if some of ye lads heard about a program called Systweak CacheBoost. We used it for fixing missing textures that you got from Car and texture mods in gta iv when running icenhancer or enb mods. I am using it at the moment and it is helping :D

    You can get it here:

    Hello everyone,

I just found your forum today, I tried to install the mod and it doesn't work at all.

What I did was the following :
    I downloaded the 0.7version using the mediafire.com
I then opened the folder close camera and pasted the content in the data_win64 folder.
I went to the gamerprofile and changed "_runtime" to "ultra", I saved the file and closed it.
I launched the game and nothing has changed. Did I do something wrong?

Thank you very much for your help and nice work!

Hey Vaas, could you tell how you are editing the files? I'm sure I could do it myself, and I would like to have the v0.6 colours and bloom, with your v0.7 DoF.
