But couldn't you just use the in-game preset of 'ultra' as long as you didn't modify the graphics settings? Or does changing display resolution set it to custom quality?

Another thing you may want to consider doing is copying the changes from the various xml files from your modified 'ultra' settings to the 'custom' profile settings but in the render config leave all the settings as 'PC' which would let the user define the quality. This way you could allow people to use both ultra and custom settings and I don't think they would need to mess with the gamerprofile.xml at all.

is there any way of modding the music files in this game? like replacing them with your own files instead? the music in aidens phone is fcking HORRIBLE. good god, wtf was ubisoft thinking when they picked these songs? there's literally only 1 or 2 songs i can actually listen to, the rest make my ears bleed.

I created a guide for the Cheat Engine table I use.

Features: FOV • Free cam • Time stop • Time of Day

Lets you get camera angles like this:

And pause the action for shots like this:

You can also control the time of day. Useful if you want to take screenshots at the exact same time of day easily... or just go from night to day with a few button presses. Always nice to get the best lighting for a screenshot :)

Wow I was thinking that just after a few listens after the game came out. This is probably the second time I turned the radio off completely in a game. You definitely need your own music for this one. The variety is terrible.

Nonlin try turning off motion blur. I had that problem when I first bought the game, before TW mod. Or change your antialiasing. I fiddled with both of those and got it to stop that.

@jim Thanks, that was useful. This might be somewhat off-topic, but could you make a guide for Crysis 3? I've seen your beautiful images on GAF and I wondered how you got no-clip.

TW, hey just a heads up, I got your fix for 0.7. And the DOF seems to turn off when you crouch behind stuff. Basically anytime you enter cover the DOF turns off and then turns back on once you exit cover.

Also when you enter in any vehicle DOF goes away.

The table I created for Crysis 3 used static addresses which break after a patch. I never redid the work, sadly.

At least I know how to create tables that won't break after patches.

Well, your method was the only way to obtain no-clip in Crysis 3, too bad there wasn't a dev-mode like in the original one.
