    TheWorse,

Seems like Aiden's hacking your city's network and creating a blackout so that you can stop working on the mod, as you're making Ubisoft look bad.

No problem at all mate, don't push yourself too hard.

Okay confirmed, i just deleted OP's XML and the display is now fixed. If anyone else has this problem then follow fragba1t's advice.

You'll get the DOF and shadows etc, not sure what the XML file adds to be honest - I haven't spent that much time on Watch Dogs since my save file corrupted a few days back.

    Edit: Glad it worked, LuneVoyage.

    Kudos to "TheWorse"!!!

    @TheWorse:

I really appreciate your hard work to achieve this brilliance!!! Thanks a million for this mod :) !! You Rock  !!!

The headlight shadow effect is fantastic! I think more improvements are needed for those high intensity blurs.

I looked into the patch.dat file and searched for keywords containing the word "blur". Found keywords like "MotionBlur","VelocityMotionBlur","MotionBlurquality","ParaboloidReflectionBlurFactor","ShadowBilateralBlur","ShadowBilateralBlurDepthThreshold","ShadowBilateralBlurNumSamples","ShadowBilateralBlurNumPasses" assigned various numerical and string values  . There is also one particular keyword called "ParticleUniformFogRangeThreshold". Its value for ultra is 0.05 .

    Thanks again  !!!

The mod is almost done, I don't know if the changes to the lighting are really noticiable but if someone of you does a comparisson like dementei It'll be great.

And I thank you guys so much for your support. I'm making the last changes right now.

This mod is fantastic! You are more diligent than Ubisoft is with their updates!

Will there be more improvements over time or did you do almost everything you could?

Does this mean we can enable the rain from the 2012 e3 demo?
For people who may have forgotten, this is e3 2012 rain:

At first i thought the DoF was too strong, then i tested with a lower FoV and becomes perfect, IMO you should keep this DoF in the "closer camera" patch

Not sure. But the recommended requirements tells that you need 8 gb,and you get less.
So I think you should play in high settings or similar.

He has said it many times through out this thread that he is making a version with less DoF.. For now just keep the mod installed, go to options and disable DoF. It baffles me how many people do not realize this. If you read through some of the pages here you will see what's going on with his next version.

    Sorry for the noobish reply.
I want to thank the OP for this, and it's really amazing that he has find it.

Can anyone help me with actually making it work?
I've placed the 2 files in my data_win64.
The next step should be to change my gamerprofile, but I cannot seem to find Quality="_runtime" when I ctrl F on it. So I can't change it to ultra.

What do I actually have to do to make it work properly?
It's working right now, as I have tons of blurr when I'm moving. But I don't see a real graphical improvement.
