Nice shots bball. I'm very tempted by that sigma myself. I have the 35art and love it. Been wanting a 50 for a long while but all previous ones seem to have some compromise that has put me off. From what I've read the new sigma is the one to get!

    thanks guys :D

Mike, if you are in the market for a 50, don't hesitate on the sigma art, it's just such a wonderful lens, wide open sharpness, way it renders the oof areas, af is accurate and snappy, not like 24-70II/70-200II fast but fast enough, very quiet too, and the build itself is beautiful, oozes quality

it is heavy for a 50 though, it feels like as if i have my 24-70II mounted, might even be a tad heavier, not used to that kind of weight on a 50 (mentally more than anything i think knowing how a typical 50 weighs), but all sweet once you're used to it

Agreed. It's HARD to get a picture of lightning. You need EXTREME patience, being in the right place in the right time or your just lucky!

    Nice one Chief Master.

Thank you. I must admit that this was a good storm with lightning every 10-20 seconds, but it was nice to have the perfect one hit dead center of the frame.

^^ I liked your second picture Samurai, looks great and colours are fantastic.

The lightening picture looked great and had a nice effect but the colours are wrong.

    The last picture was satisfactory.
