Do we need to use the XML file listed in the original post for maximum benefits or do we carry on with our own? Do we need to fiddle around with any settings in our xml files that can't be reached within the in game options?

Yep, It's kinda sad, even though it is true that the first post should be edited. I personally got used to the DOF and I wouldn't play the game without it XD

Great work, although would it be possible - for now - to release the latest version with the dynamic head light shadows removed? The glitchiness is too distracting at the moment but would love the tweaks to bloom and DOF.

Does anyone know the setting in the GamerProfile.xml that controls the brightness calibration?

Using the OP's config and the brightness is set to -17! :3eyes:

Nope, I don't use sweetfx or TheWorse gameprofile, it's the default one, but everything is maxout with the fat and dat file from TheWorse.

You know, the original game is more buggy than his dynamic shadows, so this is not really a problem, plus this is still work in progress, so just be patient guys!

It might be a improvement for some but it's still not comparable with the E3 Build the shading and partly the lighting still looks different as what we saw in that Tech Build of the Dunia Core.

Especialy the Global Illumination looks flat in the Final Build it was more dynamic in the E3 Build :)

Im not sure but maybe we saw a preview version of Nvidias GI works working in that E3 Build (future Engine implementation), though the Final Decision was Pre-Rendering most of it, that decision in terms of the Multi Platform appearance is though fully understandable.

In the End to reach as much audience (consumers) as possible with the new IP and a acceptable Render/performance Result was a more economical important Goal then to reach some geeks and their Titans ;)

The game is the same as E3 2012, 2013 and this build. They've disabled many features such as volumetric fog and they've changed the lighting to be flat at night which is sad but could be modified. When I'm done with all this I'll change every value to make the lighting better at day and at night too.

I've edited the clouds textures and it seems to work fine, no problems at all. Unfortunately I used too much sharpness and its ruined so I have to do everything again.

And I've improved stuttering along with performance.
