    Yes i can i actually found many of all the Demo Video places already also the jump on train part in the city before the lift and the walk on the stony street under the train sequence (scanning people around of it) ;)

    PS: you might have recognized the shop above as well "Pawned" it is also from one of their presentation Demos ;)

    I really hate to piss on everyone's bonfire but unless something drastic happens in version 2 I'm really starting to doubt this mod now. I can't see any difference using version 1 compared to subtle changes that can be achieved via a smart sweetfx config with the vanilla game at ultra.

    If I take gta4 as an example and the enb mods like icenhancer's, the difference really was night and day between that and the vanilla game. I'm calling this watchdogs tweak pure smoke and mirrors until proven otherwise with some proper controlled comparison screenshots and videos.

    Don't get me wrong, I really hope I am wrong, and this XML tweaking has some legs in it , and I love the fact someone is trying to make the game better. It's a pity ubisoft don't have the same motivation ain't it.

    So you wanna tell me that pic in pic (reflections) is impossible for a 2014 PC game, but it works for example in mobile games (Real Racing 3)? Nothing is impossible, but some devs are too lazy to find out.

    I remember in Skyrim days, when there were more particles, the modder just decreased the resolution of the particles to achieve better performance. Wouldn't this be possible (no one will look at a single raindrop, leaf or can)

    Also, thinks like shadows or clouds are imo parts that can be fps saver because you can easily decrease their resolution but still there are shadows (simple black shadows) etc.
    Just say, its my opinion and i am already thinking how I can handle this on my rig :D Because atm it would burn down when I try these ultra settings^^

    the "<shader>" node are not supposed to be inside <texture>??

    Its another group , ive tried both ways and both works, if something is wrong the game just wont take the XML script.

    I use Vsync On in the XML to check that. When the script works it locks the framerate when you first launch the game, when its wrong FPS go like 700 here.

    That's the way I use to fool proof bad scripting.

    Looks really awesome, though I cannot really play with this xml :D And also I hate motion blur, I will take a look into the settings later to see what values I can lower to keep best quality but have accurate fps.

    When I understood it right, I cannot change the settings ingame or the game will overwrite the complete custom xml file?

    That's normal if you don't have a monster rig. It has obviously a reason why Ubisoft scaled it down so hard.

    Try turning the v-sync off, setting textures to high.

    anyone who says it looks awesome needs to get its eyes checked. the only difference i can see is darker image with artefacts and fps drop. did any of you actually played the game? this is happening in every snake oil solution popping now and there on this forum.

    *where are exactly better physics, for what?
    *did you remodel textures and objects to appear better like you say in OP
    *FOV is not improved, its the same

    there are no real comparison pictures in OP (wrong ToD etc), here, i did them in 5mins, using same ToD, and why OP is avoiding comparisons?
    It's bunch of claims with no results to back up this epicly named thread...sigh, how this thread got on front page is beyond me.

    the ones with details in shadows and no artefact are "retail ultra"...
    kads screenshoots look ok to you because the game itself is not crap people make it out to be, atleast not graphics wise :)
    i wish config tool got more respect since rain splashes, LOD and other settings you can change without running your fps to the ground, and actual "coding" was done there :)
