Just installed the drivers and I'm getting a freeze upon exit with Wolfenstein: The New order. Game freezes with constant cpu usage and I need to manually terminate. It was fine on the previous WHQL drivers I had on.

I'm also getting a return of the OS hang reported as a WHEA logger error event ID 18 which started with 337.50 whilst browsing in Firefox. OS hangs, no bsod with mouse unresponsive and upon reset 2 of these events are recorded.

Never happened with any other driver in 3 years since I put the PC together and no such errors ever having been reported and then with this new miracle driver that apparently tinkers with the way the CPU and GPU operate together I start getting these total freezes.

I return to the previous WHQL 335.23 and all is well for weeks until I try the new 337 version of the WHQL today and the error comes back. Not whilst gaming but just surfing in Firefox.

I suspect this branch of drivers is causing hardware issues for me.

+1 It does, what Andy means is that "There is no point because a 780ti 6GB will will cut into the Titan Black Sales because that has 6GB also and has similar performance but we charge alot more for the Titan Black".

This is the real reason why.

Only ever tried RadeonPro once: No Joy, and the guy's forum has a sticky where nVidia users don't have to go away mad, but still need to go away … :s3d:

A 6gb 780 with 2304 shaders is not a threat to the titan black but a 780ti 6gb with 2880 cuda cores is a real threat and would likely be $200 bucks cheaper for the same exact performance of a black in gaming.

Maybe a typo, it says "Download the Nvidia GeForce 337.88 WHQL driver as released by NVIDIA." on the GUru3D page.

installed -seems Windows Experience Index refresh failed with single monitor set and power set to max preformance
-set to default and WEI refresh finished OK.
IDK if its anything or not.
    haven't gamed yet(busy right now).
thought the 570 users should have a representational comment.

    Why is that?

GTA4 is how old now, since 2008? and it needs 8gb to run ok @ max settings. Im pretty sure a 2014 game with similar principal - large city, lots of AI, etc will raise the bar to 8gb+ for sure.

Installed these earlier today, seem ok, only played Wolfenstein so far but I've had no issues with it.

    I agree.

8gb or more is suggested for optimal performance for the games.

you have to add the game memory requirements on top of the system ram usage.

with 4gb memory. that system will have to swap memory cache back and forth.

my system when using chrome browser runs around 4gb in windows 8.1

windows 7 it sometimes hits 5gb. same software running.

The new driver caused this error when I tried to play Minecraft:

NVIDIA OpenGL driver lost connection with the display driver due to exceeding the windows Time-Out limit and is unable to continue. Application must close.
    Error code: 7

No matter how ultimate this driver is Watch_Dogs and other sequels or game like that will force the average user to get the ULTIMATE TITAN Z....

Glad to see new drivers for us to snuggle up with.

I'll give it a few day and see if the driver goes nuclear on any GPU's.
My 335.23 have been rock solid. I just want to be cautious and not get burned.

I'm really looking forward to the performance improvements that was added.

    working good so far..

I just have to live with the fact that not every game will play great at 4k resolution.

    wolfenstein plays at around 40fps

    watch dogs play at 20-30fps

    outlast 60fps
