Perhaps it is sufficient to use the HDMI-cable only, without disabling the DDC/CI. I did both.
No monitor standby bug since that.
14.4 was not stable for my configuration. (still the TDR-problem)

I've just got my first BSOD with these drivers ever since I got my R9 290X. It was caused by the ATI driver (don't remember its name exactly, but it's the same that has been previoulsy reported). I was surfing the web using Firefox and listening to some music when it ocurred. Yes, the webpage I was reading had flash video in the background. And yes, I always have my web browsers and Flash Player up to date.

Back to the leaked 14.4 and I'll cross my fingers. I hope not to see another one ever again.

PS I'm reporting this to AMD.

14.4 seems to be fine for my 6950. Used to get a few BSOD's on 13.12 drivers while playing Watch Dogs, so I thought: lets update. That did the trick. Everything on high is nice and smooth (few laggy spots here and there). Looks nice on 2560x1440 as well. :)

HD 6770M (HP Dv6 notebook) Please Help

    Hello sir,
I am new user and can't make new THREAD. So i post here.

I have Radeon HD 6770M (HP Dv6 notebook) and i was using
"ATI Catalyst v.10". and i have used AMD utility to clean
Un-install Previous Catalyst and then i rebooted and
installed newest one version 14. And now every time i
open "ATI Catalyst Control Center" error pops up.
    Error:
    Code:
    [B]Title:[/B] HydraVision
[B]Message:[/B] AMDD's desktop manager is being unloaded
because an AMD display driver is not currently running.
If you have administration privileges, click 'Reset' to revert to
default display settings. Select "Cancel" to close this window
    with no changes.

To permanently remove an installed AMD Display driver,
use the Add/Remove Programs control panel.
I am Administrator User and have full Privileges.
What is wrong? Please help me with this problem.

Use Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) to uninstall you broken installation of drivers.

    This should fix your problem.

Or maybe you are Enduro user, just make sure you don't install HydraVision, as it is Intel managing the display.

May get some drivers next week when Watchdogs hits, as 2x 290X's in Xfire are barely faster than a single 750Ti in it, all thanks to Nvidia, as its one of their :- 'AMD Card Detected :- Crippling Performance' titles.

Same as AC4, AMD never fix it and performance is still crap so don't expect miracles.

Well since i came back to ATI/AMD Ive saved loads of money....not only was the 7970 cheaper than an 780 but AMD's slack driver support has pretty much changed my game buying habits......

Now rather than per-order or day 1 purchase im just waiting 6-8 months for a sale/deep discount as by then stuff has been patched and if your really really lucky AMD might have released a driver (or 2) that have some performance fixes

Just wondering how long it will take them to bring watchdogs/wolf up to speed,i very much doubt there reaction will be as swift as Nv's was with its DX optimizations in answer to mantles beta release the other month,we've still seen zero reaction from AMD to Nv's DX CPU optimizations(i very much doubt we ever will)

I'm using 14.3 and it already has pre-defined profile for watchdogs.

Confirmed. Watch Dogs(same as new Wolfstein) runs like my grand mother with hers pants down. Xfire GPU use hovering around 30-50%, CPU @ 40-60%. Hopefully AMD driver team ends their long lasting Hawaii vacation and return to work.

Watch Dogs runs like a total piece of crap. 25 FPS on ultra, 40FPS on high. Stutters like a bitch. 7GB of VRAM usage WTF?

Please release a god damn driver already....

Yeah, the last good driver for quad crossfire was 13.12 for me.
