The owners have given the dog up voluntarily, it is now under going a strict test to see if it needs to be destroyed or not. My questions are: 1) How did the dog get loose? 2) Why would the dog just seemingly go for the little boy? If you ask me, it is true that whilst dogs do have that animal instinct inside them all. It is 100% the owners fault, it is how they bring the dog up. How they treat the dog is how the dog will ultimately end up. I have a dog, and honestly he wouldn't hurt a fly. I also have a cat and they love each other to bits. But still I would never leave my dog or even my cat for that matter anywhere near or alone with ANY children. I take my dog for walks and yes he is most of the time off the lead to explore and run around as he pleases. But as soon as I spot another dog, or child walking towards us. I ALWAYS call him back and put him back on his lead. He is obedient enough to listen to me and do as I ask. Because I have brought him up properly.
I agree with you completely. If a dog isn't properly trained then it's bound to do something like this.
Cats are territorial, as far as stray dogs are concerned. The child is probably really kind to his cat as well. Far too many people buy this particular breed of dog, and then haven't a clue where it has wandered off to, until a pair of size ten boots appears on the doorstep with an order to have the dog put down. In the UK, it's often men with dicks the size of a bookie's pencil who buy this type of mutt, and parade around with it like some sort of Jack The Lad.
see the cat in real life http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zmg1krgx5Hw but what is this comment there [ lol and
Wow, a dog that size could easily tear a cat apart. That cat risked its own life to protect that little boy and that's just plain awesome. Chuck Norris called and said he wants his cat back.
