I'm still having problem with DXVA and video players in browsers. Notebook is laggy after using this features. GPU Restarter doesn't fix it,other switchers too, reinstalling doesn't help. I think it is "xFireFox Text Corruption Fix" and "lFlash GPU Acceleration". When I used that stuff and do few restarts drivers are broken.

I also have some problems reproducing some movies (they dont reproduce fluently, had some stops, in movies it only appened in 2 in 10 or 20 movies) and I also had problems with some video players in browsers , can it be from the driver? or it's the computer?

Sorry about my english, I'm portuguese

Hallo Thnak you dellon132 for your hard wrok. Your drivers are the best that i ever have.
    I have switchable GPU 4250m+6630m.
I have now your Modded Driver Version 11.01. This is the last that for may switchable GPU 4250m+6630m graficcard work. I can not update to your newest Version. I think 11.09 V2 Beta. I Need one upgrade for newer drives for Windows 8.1. After install your modded Driver 11.09 V2 Beta i have in Windows 8.1 Black Screen. I have test some older Betas to (11.04, 11.07) but they are not working to. With 11.04 or 11.07 the AMD CCC dont start normaly i mean i have only the Frame from CCC Window and without any Options. With the old Drivers 11.01 (that works vor W 8.1 to) i have a black start botten and some over grafic issue - thats why i will upgrade to a never one-.
I dont have any expirience how a Driver can modify or Change or programming but my question is: Is possible to modify this Driver for hybrid grafic use: h**p://support.amd.com/en-us/download/embedded/previous/detail?os=Windows%207%20-%2064&rev=14.10.1006
    Please can you help me?

I have a major issue and I wondered if anyone could help.

I ran the CleanUP batch file and removed an old driver. That went fine. However I then ran the cleaner again to remove all AMD software. It went to a black desktop as before and once it finished it was sat on the main menu. I rebooted and now after I login I have a black desktop with mouse. No icons and not able to do anything apart from Ctrl+Alt+Del and run task manager, log off etc.

Its as if the cleaner batch file didn't put something back after removing the AMD software.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

The next update won't be released anytime soon as I've only work on
the new profiling system. But even that is still in Testing.
(Bsods due to high memory usage or Cpu usage and other bugs)

Hmm those switchers(scripts) normally shouldn't cause that issue.
try applying the IFlash GPU Acceleration tweak then attempt to play
a video in Firefox using 1080p. Next open Task manager to monitor
CPU Usage if it's lower than 30 or 20 Flash Acceleration is enabled
however it's lower than 30 or 20 but videos still lag then you may
want to consider reinstslling your OS. But just to make sure I recommend
installing AMD Catalyst 13.4 Beta for Legacy Graphics. If the
problem persist re-install your operating system.

What issues are you encountering when you try to play videos through
your web browser? Also when you say reproduce are you by chance
converting movies to different format? or are you referring to playing
movies in General? Converting movies aren't always 100% so from time
time their may be problems. if you are referring to playing movies. Then
you should compare the file extension of each movie to determine
whether or not the driver has problem playing different media formats.

    In Regards to Web Browsers.
Since your system has low end you may want to try using Google
Chrome or the lFlash GPU Acceleration Script included in the
Dx9 Switcher Folder. (Lowers CPU Usage and improves overall Performance
when browsing the Web with Firefox.) I only recommend using this with
Videos as support from adobe ended awhile ago.

The current driver is already being configured for that purpose for
Switchable Graphics Users. However I currently don't have much
control over how the system works so it's only partially implemented.
I recommend following the Guide below when installing the driver
for Switchable Graphics. After doing so please provide your results
    again as you've done above.

After using Ctrl+Alt+Del run Task Manager and then left click on
file and choose "Run new task" when it opens type in explorer
and hit ok. (Make sure that the box is unchecked.)

    Note:
After installing all Drivers and Software let me know whether or not
    you encounter that issue again.

Some Guideline For Switchable Graphics User

    Installation Guide For Switchable Graphics

-Disable Windows Driver Update (Windows will attempt to install another
driver and that may result in a Bsod)

-Run the Driver Cleaner and Uninstall All Drivers. After Cleanup
is Complete User will be asked to install the Display Driver
through the Alternate Installer. If this message does not appear
switchable graphics User may encounter installation problems.

-Run the Software Cleaner and Uninstall AMD Software Only
This applies to all Users of this Driver unless you willingly want
to test the Full Software Uninstaller.

-After completing the above steps, proceed to installing the
driver through the alternate installer by Installing the
    Driver Signature Workaround First.

-After Completing the installation of the Driver Signature
Workaround, press continue to Skip the 10 second Wait and
    Proceed to installing All Software.

-When the installation of all software is done proceed to
    installing the Modded Driver.

    -Finally Restart Your System.

    Hallo dellon132,
    thank for your good suppor.
I now have the new Driver installed.
The Problem was i have install the drives over the Alternate Installer and after that i have start the Setup.exe to install the CCC. I have use the custom Option and alle Option was checked. When all Option are checked then i have black Screen forever. I have now to boot in safe mode and deinstall the drives and boot again. Now i have make a Driver cleaning with your aSimple CleanUP Utility. Now i have install all form the start but
i have unchecked on Setup form CCC under custom install amd Driver and since that all works.
    That was the Problem.

But one Thing now i have only black left under Corner why? I mean at normaly you have a lighting Windows logo. But only when i pick it with the muse Cursor. The Black one is bad and you not see it good.
Sorry i dont know how i can add a Picture to this post. Do you know what i mean?

Here is a another sreen shoot:
    h**p://***.google.de/imgres?imgurl=http%3A%2F%2Fwinsupersite.com%2Fsite-files%2Fwinsupersite.com%2Ffiles%2Fuploads%2F2013%2F07%2Ftip-apps-pu-menu.jpg&imgrefurl=http%3A%2F%2Fwinsupersite.com%2Fwindows-8%2Fwindows-81-tip-optimize-desktop&h=457&w=486&tbnid=kt3uSFqvlvKxyM%3A&zoom=1&docid=i7eFahHxs2StSM&ei=uOpzU5THE4G27QaAqIGIBg&tbm=isch&iact=rc&uact=3&dur=298&page=8&start=135&ndsp=20&ved=0CJwBEK0DMDI4ZA

Please replaze *** with right ones.

Scroll down to the restart Option.

You can see in the upper left Corner the highlighted Windows 8.1 logo with black Frame and in the Frame the Windows logo. On this plaze i only have a black box, all over Icons for example the Explorer Icon woeks normal.
But only when i pick it with the muse Cursor. I hope you understand what i mean.

The link to the image doesn't seem to work for me. Did you already
try adding the URL link to the image using insert image?
Also, when accessing the Desktop does the black screen disappear?

    EDITED
Ok, so your Windows logo always show up as black...
You can try doing two things.

    1. Use the GPU Restarter as an attempt to reload the driver
    into the system.
    2. run the iAMD Setting Optimizer as an Administrator and
    select option 4.

    dellon132,

Just signed up to say thanks for your work. I am very thankful to have some kind of support on my aging graphics card. After install, everything seems to work fine. I played Smite the other day and it seemed to be smoother.

One thing that did cause a hiccup was the Driver Cleaner. I can report that, after I used the Cleaner and installed your modded driver, some of my other drivers were corrupted. These drivers include: Logitech USB Mouse, Atheros WLAN, Modem, Conexant Audio, VirtualCloneDrive, and VSTJungo drivers. No worries though, I just had to reinstall them. Other than that, the installation went by without fault.

That was the first thing I tried yesterday and it didn't work.

I did some more investigating and it seems the cleanup script had deleted files and folders all over my HDD. There were whole programs missing and individual files missing all over the place. I only noticed because Windows App logs were full of missing files/services/program errors.

I have no idea what that batch script did but it really wasn't good. I think I selected the option to remove ALL AMD software or something along those lines. I'm not touching it again.

I had to do a complete rebuild which I'm only just about finished with.

This bug has been around for quite awhile. I plan to resume working
on it after the new profiling system is complete.

I think you may have accidentally used the Full Software Cleanup
that uninstalls all software. I'll have to figure out the cause of explorer
not launching. One of the reasons I haven't actively recommended this
option to users is due to the cleaner being completely automated....
Yes some restrictions have been implemented but not many as
it depends on what software the users have installed and whether
it holds any similarities to windows system software.

Angry Birds OpenGL 2.0/1.4 not supported?

    Hi.

I installed the latest driver on my Dell D810 laptop (X300 64GB) with Windows 7 Professional and i want to try Angry Birds Star Wars II but i get "OpenGL 2.0 renderer not supported!" also "OpenGL 1.4 renderer not supported".
I was kinda hoping this driver would fix this problem (after days of searching the internet and trying different drivers). What am i doing wrong?

    Regards!

There are dowloaded movies so I don't know if the person who put that on the web converted the video, but I dowload them by torrent and in the coments all people said that the quality is very good, in the tow times it appened in videos with .mp4 extension, but I have other movies in that format that work fine. For you know I am using the last update of the k lite mega codeck pack 10.4.5 with the 10.4.6 update, they recently released the 10.4.8 update but I don't update yet.
I cant post the image because i only have 5 posts and i need ten so here is the link for the image:www4.worldrag.com/imagem/di/GHYE/Untitled-1.png.
Its about my k lite version
If you wnat i can try to give you the torrents of the movies that gives me problems

In the browser almost all videos, except youtube (works fine), have a lot of breaks whem they reproduce, it's almost like i am seing photos going, if you dont understand my english i can try to explain better

Hmm, before instaling the Display Driver did you Uninstall all
AMD Drivers and AMD Software both cleaners included in the DX9 Switcher?

When you say a lot of breaks are you referring to the buffering?
also does changing the Video Quality to something lower
    make any difference?

    Here are some Less
    Demanding Qualities

    140p, 240p, 340p, 480p

-Did you try any of the above video quality?
-Also did you try applying the Flash GPU Acceleration
    switcher for Firefox?

What media player are you using with KLite Codec?

It was easier for me to do a fresh install of Windows 7 Professional (the 32bit of course). The driver install went OK. Then i install Angry Birds Star Wars II but running it i get the same message about OpenGL 2.0/1.4 renderer not supported...

I also installed the OpenGL Extensions Viewer (4.1) and it indicates OpenGL version 1.1. I believe, reading some other forums, that it has something to do that this program indicates that the renderer says its "GDI Generic". I guess it should be ATI/AMD something...

    How further?

I think you will have to provide your Graphic Card Vendor ID.
I also recommend including your your GPU Name listed in
    Device Manager.

    Sure:
The device name listed (with your driver) is
    AMD Mobility Radeon X300

    VendorID is 1002 & DeviceID is 5460.

Its a Dell Latitude D810 laptop. As far i can find on the internet almost everyone has the OpenGL problem under Windows 7, although under Windows XP everything is ok...

Well, i hope this can get you any further. Thanks !

Are you by chance using a 32 Bit Operating System?

Sure, no problem. if you notice any bugs please post them.

Did everyone upgrade their OS to Windows 8.1 or are there still
    Users using Windows 8?
