Hannibal Rising did it first. Spoiler The Graham dream scene where he decapitates Lecter (tied to a tree) using the Stag and a rope is similiar to a scene in the movie Hannibal Rising, but in Hannibal rising, Lecter uses a horse and rope to extract information from a person he has tied to a tree. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sLBUWvSXVMM
http://www.free-tv-video-online.me/internet/hannibal/index.html I use Fast video Downloader with Firefox and watch the shows later. Not a big fan of streaming here at work because I usually get interrupted. Can't say how great they stream, but every episode is here.
thanks a lot. hooked on this series, but i have a lot of exams and homeworks due. i know... i will reward myself with an episode for every 2 homeworks done . will motivate me to study . gotta hit the books ...
So do we think Dr. Chilton is really dead? We never saw a body after the shooting, and he does have a place in the theater version.... IMO he's in hiding.
I just saw where the show might be canceled after this season. If it is, one of the cable networks should definitely pick it up.
Definitely, the show is a gem and with the right network and airing time it will do great even in the ratings department.
He's not dead, if they go by the books, and besides it was a face shot from the bullet. Many survive such shots.
first time in a long time a serie haunted me in my sleep and beyond i went shopping yesterday, passing by the meat section, butcher looked spooky. a cannonball to the gut.....what the f**k Hannibal? fresh meat, from our own source...sounded like Hannibal voice for me. :3eyes:
The show has been renewed for a third season despite it's low ratings. They say it's NBC's lowest rated scripted series but yet it was renewed. The second season ratings were lower than the first's. I've thought from the beginning that it seemed more like a cable network show than a major broadcaster's offering. I think it would be well suited for FX, USA, or even AMC. We don't have to worry about that though for at least another year. Personally I'm not thrilled by how many things are different from the books but, they really threw us a confusing curve in Friday's episode in regards to Freddy Lounds' fate. I do believe though that they have actually killed off Dr. Chilton which I'm not thrilled about.
I'm happy it got renewed, a show like this deserves a better network and spot (friday is bad for ratings no matter what as far as I know). Spoiler I was 99.9% sure that Freddy wasn't dead and I'm also still quite sure that Chilton isn't dead, but I wouldn't be surprised if he is either. I did not read the books.
WOW! I just got a chance to watch Friday's episode. I didn't see that coming. I honestly thought will had flipped somehow. Now I hope he gets a chance to throat punch Alana.
Mildly true. I think it's partially due to how the series has such a lovely atmosphere, mystery and subtleness. With some of the curtains lifted it looses a bit of the things that made it so interesting.
