Madureira updated the Darksiders FB page today with the following comment... https://www.facebook.com/pages/Joe-Madureira/157043750975722 An IP as good as Darksiders can't be hung out to dry and it's great to hear that something, ANYTHING is in the works. Hopefully it won't be too long till we hear more.
I hope they do something about the pacing/length. DS1 was terribly long and I quit close to the end because of the backtracking involved.
OMG! So excited to read this. Darksiders is my Legacy of kain replacement. I love this series...probably my most favourite for the voice acting, character design and fun factor. Loved DS2 and played 70h for main campaign getting all pages of the book of the dead. Still have the expansion packs to play through and started a new game +. I hope they keep the campaign still 20-30h. I hate 10h campaigns.

I would LOVE a third game, but only if it is up to the first two. And, without Vigil behind it... I'm not sure how well they'd pull it off. But I'd definitely be up for it. I've finished the first one multiple times, and the second one a couple. Great games.
I loved both games and would be very happy if this is true, even if it will take many years, at least we have something to look forward to.
The first two games were great, combining a lot of action-adventure, puzzle and RPG elements. I'd like to see a third one coming soon.
