    hi
i'm facing some serious problem which are bothering me :(
every some hour i've freeze (with loud sound) and have to restart system..
i noticed when i uninstall AMD Catalyst software and drivers , there's no freeze
tried latest beta and stable driver but the problem's still there..
and also i can't wake my system after sleep (no problem with hibernate)
and one other issue.. every time after shutting down, (not hibernating)
when i press power button, some secs after turning fans and lights on,
system will be shut down and then turn on by itself..!
are these problems related together in your opinion?
some guy told me maybe it's related to my PSU.. but if it's true, why freeze
problem will solve after uninstalling AMD drivers?
    sorry for my bad English

no.. but now you said, i remember one day i change my motherbord setting from standard
to "asus performance" which is said reduce power and increase performance.. could it be
the cause for all of those issues?
i'll set that to default and will check if it's fixed..
    tnx

edit: unfortunately sleep and shut down problem didn't solve.. let's see if it freezes..

So without CCC and driver your system is stable, correct ?

Then when you install CCC\drivers (and assuming) crossfire gets enabled, the system freezes ?

Does your machine freeze if you have the CCC\driver installed but have CF disabled ?

Sorry for all the questions... just trying to understand the situation better.

For testing purposes, un-install CCC\driver. Shutdown and remove the 2nd card, once back in Windows, re-install CCC\drivers and test.

If it tests OK with only one card, shutdown again and swap the cards... now test again.

Doing it this way may help eliminate software (drivers) and hardware (graphics card\PSU\and possibly motherboard).

He might be thinking the same thing I'm getting at, without the CCC\drivers installed there is less stress on the PSU because CF will not be enabled allowing for more power for rest of the system with a single card.

Be a good idea to fill in the rest of your system specs ;)

no bro.. i'm sorry for bothering you :(

    i'll do this for sure..!

some other guy told me maybe beta driver has ruined my software and i have to
complete uninstall with some apps like "driver sweeper" and reinstall cleanly

No worries mate, this is how I enjoy spending a lazy Sunday morning

Chances are, it is software (driver or possibly OS) related which could require running a driver cleaning program to sort things out... tho, personally I never use and rarely recommend them, only as a last re-sort.

I have no personal experience with this program Display Driver Uninstaller but I would recommend it over any of the other options out there. If decide to try it, be sure to ask any questions in that thread first as the guys there are very helpful.

    Speeeeecs ?? :D
