Plextor announces the worldwide availability of the M6e PCIe SSD, the first SSD specifically designed to meet the demanding requirements of the gaming community. The M6e will be available exclusively ... Plextor M6e PCI Express SSD
Nice where's the 1TB and 2TB models, would be great if it could be an express x8 to run in x8 slot on the upcoming x99 2011 boards.
No LED pin headers? Also, considering it seems these modules are replaceable, you'd think they'd add more slots and use maybe a 4x lane. Besides, gotta do something with all that excessive wasted PCB space.
This SSD is suitble for the new z97 motherboards that have 10gb instead of the 6gb sata? I never used this kind of devices for pci slots only videocard's so im bit of newbie at this.
No specs? Also your paying for the card and the SSD, so you can use it in PCs without the m.2 slot. If they made the card that big they should of added at least another slot. Here's a super fast PCIe SSD with its bulky card to block your GPUs from cooling! YAY! I just had too, sorry.
It is not that bulky, but if this will only be sold on newegg and for only one week, this is a non existent product. Is just like those limited edition supercars that topgear never reviews.
Your reading it too literally. Exclusive to NewEgg between those dates then available everywhere else..
Its already for on sale. Exclusive to newegg?? since when? http://www.overclockers.co.uk/productlist.php?groupid=701&catid=2104&subid=2198
