Wow I thought I came a bit late to the party. Just FYI the new KBT 1.27 works with B1 chips so you can alter your power target.

Well, things worked out extremely well yesterday and I'm pleasantly surprised with the performance this card offers over a highly clocked 680 Lightning.

Thanks Loop, got all my tools ready for when I have time to see what this card can do, hopefully on the weekend... wasted all my time yesterday gaming :3eyes:

I just got rid of SLI EVGA GTX 760's and got the 780 this past saturday. I have 90% or better of the SLI performance with less power use & lower temperatures. I should have gone this route to begin with but I just had to try out SLI. Other than benchmarks there is nothing the SLI cards do better than the single 780. Very happy with my choice just wish I had made it sooner.

If only this 6Gb version would be a little beefier, I was thinking 13-14SMX, kinda like 260GTX 216core edition

Just plain vanilla 780GTX with extra 3gb is kinda meh atm, idk I would want more powah now at this time :D

I would miss my second card especially in BF4, i have a 144hz display and 1 780 would struggle to maintain 144fps in the games i play.

just found out with this card. some old games(13 years old) wont detect resolutions higher then 640x480.

with my 580, the games would go to at lest 1024x768

I had to set the resolution in the games ini file and the game runs fine in the resolution.

not really big problem as Iam going to send those games over to my win 98 gaming machine as they will play better on it.

I run 2560x1440 115hz and never dip below 100fps with mostly ultra settings in bf4 msaa off. Dropping effects to medium and particles, plus using low fxaa and it runs like a dream, usually 120+ fps. Would I like msaa? Sure, but it isn't worth going sli for to me. Same thing applies to most games along this idea.... cost and multicard. Once I go 4k I'll need more horsepower though.
