Hello gents , i was thinking about upgrading into a Sapphire 290 tri-x later this month. i was wondering if its possible to unlock the 290 to 290x via bios. if Anyone with this model has been able to achieve such result. "if its possible ofc."
I don't believe so. As far as I recall, only the early models of the PowerColor (like my [press] card) are unlock-able... But I haven't bothered to do so yet.
thanks , atleast u replied. i've been reading around the only unlockable models are the ones who have a specific code by looking in with Hawaii-Info , looks like Hynix memory allows the unlock. its all about luck i guess
