No performance gains, the point is that I can't use the Mantle renderer itself, because Mantle doesn't support Enduro. So Mantle can't speak to the GCN graphics card, only to the main renderer, the APU graphics which is VLiW4. Look:

This would only be a problem with muxless laptops though right? My limited understanding is that Enduro and/or PowerXpress apply to dual graphics laptops in-general, both dual-GPUs with hardware mux, and dual-GPUs without a hardware mux.

Hardware-mux laptops can change the primary GPU with relative ease.

 

That's correct, muxless laptops won't support Mantle now (but later) Which is strange, because it's their latest switchable graphics technology, muxed is outdated. Hopefully Starswarm will support Enduro now...

because of last minute bug, the driver might be late, and AMD might have to prepare for a flood of F5 and then the download flood.
