Shame we dont have a retro forum, for me the Turrican 2 sound track is one of the most memorable experiences ive had, with both Turrican 1 and Turrican 2 when i inserted the disks my jaw dropped, ****ing amazing.

Anyway, if anyone is in the same boat as me and i never realised but Chris Huelsbeck had a kickstarter last year for a Turrican Anthology, i just bought Volume 2 and its fecking mega.

You can buy them here - http://chrishuelsbeck.bandcamp.com/

Im not affiliated in any way with this i just absolutely love the Turrican 1 & 2 soundtracks and thought id let people know.

Theres a few tracks on the site showing the updated audio, Desert Rocks is really good :)

Spent ages on Last ninja games at my mate's house back in the late 80s and early 90s. I thought that there was never going to be a game that is more realistic and better than Last ninja games.

Yeah i thought the same at the time "How are games going to get better than this" lol it was so advanced for its time.

The Last Ninja is more than a game its iconic, its product.

The first game was the game for me that made me realise that c64 was the best 8 bit computer in the world. It was even better than the later released 16 bit versions on the ST, AMIGA and absolutely abysmal PC version. It sold c64's by the bucketload just like Dungeon Master did for ST and Defender of the crown did for the Amiga.
