Great screens! I don't think that game looks as amazing as some do. The detail seems sparse a lot of the time. Like it couldn't handle high density foliage or something. The grass color is also really weird and the SSAO is just retarded.

But it has its moments. The water reflections are especially nice and the lighting looks great on occasion. Also one of the few games where the skybox is actually somewhat bearable.

 

Yeah for sure. Since it was first released I always thought it lacked colour shades. Making it look cartoony. Having just played through Dead Island Riptide, I think that engine nailed the graphics. Especially comparing similar environments here.

 

Far Cry 3

Then again... it can look damn stunning! Man, resolution is everything. When every game is 4K and 60fps, we will be in heaven I swear.

I think that the game feels rushed up in many parts of the map, some are made with care and attention, others, especially the second island, are made by a 3 yo child with the map editor... A rock here, a tree there, and there you go! Absolutely no inspired design, unfortunately.

Another annoying issue is the almost total staticity of the vegetation, and a special mention goes to the nigh/day cycle and the storms. Really ugly.

 

The problem mainly with Skyrim is twofold. First, it's in a bitter cold northern region. I believe this was the inspiration for sparse foliage. Second, Skyrim utilizes some over the screen desaturation filter of sorts like the one used in Fallout New Vegas. Skyrim looks a lot more vibrant without it generally.

@jonas, can we rotate the camera, pan it? 360 degree pls?

 

Not quite 360 degrees, it can be manipulated but you can't rotate it in a circle, at least not in the current version of the game.

They aren't currently accepting more people into the game, i'm also waiting for ages to get it.

But not sure wich Divinity game you're talking about, there are a few.

Larian went back to the style from Divine Divinity and Beyond Divinity (The first two games.) albeit this time in full 3D though still with the same amount of interactivity and attention to detail, even for a limited alpha build I've been quite impressed by what the game offers which bodes well for the beta and eventual full release sometime next year.
(Still retains the same quirky humor as well.)

Oh and it's turn based combat now instead of real-time hack & slash action, bit slower but much more tactical so I'm enjoying it even if it's a bit different.

Unsure if there's a way to get the game at the moment, maybe they'll use Steam early-access as a means to gather more feedback on the game and more funds, perhaps for the beta?
(Which I think was planned for February 2014, might just have been late Q1 or early Q2 2014 though, I don't fully remember and it could get delayed further if more time is needed on development.)

 

battlefield 4 can look so beautyfull when terrain decoration is working as intended..
