Anyone with a GTX760 having performance issues on very few maps?

So the servers aren't updated yet it seems, nor is the patch live?

Try uninstalling the Creative driver and using onboard, see if it stops? I am using a USB headset at the moment so I don't have any sound drivers installed.

I've never had a soundloop crash with my ZXR (on Win 8). Would be interesting to know the cause of that issue.

Me neither, using onboard Realtek on Windows 8.1 64 Pro, never had it on 7 either.

Yeah, I'm using realtek also. I've heard updating your onboard driver works "sometimes."

I use G35 phones when I play BF4, I have had my desktop speakers on before though.. No issues.

As for the person stating uninstalling the creative driver. Good idea, or atleast update it to most current.

Little by little it seems as DICE is working through all the major bugs of the game. I've already finished the singleplayer campaign. Now I hope to be able to play some multiplayer matches without my terribly high ping being overly irritating.

    Greetings and happy hunt!

For me it's a definite NO. First map and got one 6 min in. Gotta love it.

From reading over comments, the sound loop is the result of the crash, what causes it is the problem.

I have a dedicated sound card and have experienced crashes where the sound loops.

The only thing that allows me to play without any crashes is using medium settings and playing in bordless in the window/fullscreen settings.

although I have yet to play post new update so.... :p

BF4 has the worst servers I have ever seen. Massive packet loss, rubber banding and ping flux make it almost unplayable. I can sink whole clips into someones back and nothing registers. This is with 100/20 connection and I can do ping, jitter and packet loss testes to china with no problems at all. Horrible

I just wanted to Add my findings with the sound loop. I first started using 64bit launcher short cut and was getting sound loop crash on Shanghai. Then I heard others say try 32. So I used 32bit at the same time the patch came out. I played heavy for days and never had the crash.. Then I read on here how you can select each version in origin with game properties, so I tried using it to launch 64bit. Now I've been getting sound loop crash ever since, even on the loading screen along with CTD with it saying BF4 has stopped working. To me it seems the crashes is within 64bit.. I wanted to switch back to 32bit but now all of a sudden origin ask me every time to launch 86x or 64x. If I select 86x/32 it gives a red X and says serial and dll cannot be used. It forces me to launch the game in 64 bit every time. I don't know what happened but it sucks.

I've been using 64-bit exclusively and haven't had that error even once. It shouldn't be related to that, at least not "only" to that.

Ive had a few bsod crashes where the sound loops. Win 8.1 here.

But it ONLY happens when im running Skype or Xfire aswell as the game.

Its never crashed when ive not been using either of the above.

Bit annoying as when I want to play with my mate we have to use the ingame voip which aint to good.

I have the sound loop crash in other games too. But I am running Skype most of the time. So that's interesting.
