Hey guys, I started another thread recently, and got some good answers, but have decided to make some changes and expand my budget a bit.

    Now I'm looking at:

    COOLER MASTER HYPER 212 EVO
    INTEL CORE I5 4670K 3.4GHZ 6MB S-1150
    CORSAIR 8GB DDR3 VENGEANCE LP PC3-12800 1600M
    FRACTAL DESIGN DEFINE R4 BLACK
    KINGSTON SSDNOW V300 120GB SSD 7MM SATA/600 M
    SAPPHIRE RADEON R9 280X TOXIC 3GB PCI-E HDMI/...
    SEAGATE BARRACUDA 2TB 7200RPM SATA/600 64MB

I want to buy another 280x Toxic to CF down the line. I plan to OC the CPU to 4-4,2GHz. Will an 850W PSU be adequate? I was originally going for a 750w Corsair, as it is almost half the price of the 850w ones. But doesn't seem like 750w is enough for two toxics and an OC'ed i5 4670k.
    Now I'm looking at
CORSAIR RM SERIES 850W GOLD MODULAR PSU
    or
XFX XXX Edition 850W 80+ Bronze
The XFX is about £20 cheaper.
Alternatively, the Chieftec A135 Series APS-1000C 1000W PSU is about £10 more expensive than the Corsair 850.

For mobo, I was recommended the ASUS Z87I-PRO.
I've also been looking at the Asus Z87-C.
They both appear to support crossfire and S-1150. The Z87-C is £35-40 cheaper.
Appreciate any advice. And also whether it's even worthwhile to upgrade the mobo and PSU for the option of adding the second GPU later.

Z87I-Pro is a mini-ITX board and Z87-C is a low end board. You need a better board so you can run your cards at x16/x8 or x8/x8. Z87 Extreme4, Z87X-UD3H, Z87X-D3H, Z87-G45 Gaming or similar.

    Thanks!
So if I go with the aforementioned components, the Z87X-D3H, and an 850w PSU I should be ok? and have enough wattage to power 2 280x toxic?

And should I go for the corsair 850w gold or the XFX 850w bronze?

Corsair 850w gold, 850w should be enough tbh yeah. I'd get a 850.
