    OK, so got Win 8.1 Pro installed, ran great, automatically installed 326.60 by itself, now i just installed the 331.83 over it, and it worked until i did a reboot, after that says im back at 326.60

    So, i used DDU ( Display Driver Uninstaller ) removed everything and once im booted back in windows i start the nvidia application to install 331.83 and give's me this

    reboot in advanced mode, select option 7 to disable driver sign and reinstall.

    Ah ok sorry, yea 8 / 8.1 is a PITA to find the hidden settings if you're just starting out using it

    I had to Google how to shut down 8 when I first tried it

    What option did you used on DDU and did you used it in safe mode?

    Because the xeon root pci-e problem was caused by DDU. (well maybe also a nvidia bug as it happen only with nvidia from the reports i got so far...)
    If you can post me you system specs either here or in private I would appreciate.

    I remember at work, first time I had to shutdown a W8 PC:

    cmd ---> shutdown /t 1 /s

    Couldn't find the shutdown button for the life of me lol and I had no time to google it since I was under time pressure.
