So I have been running, as some of you may remember, on July's Forcewares because they're the last ones to be stable for me.

I did download the 331.58s for BF4 and aforementioned Origins but was too scared to try them given how unstable every driver set since July has been for me.

However, curiously enough Origins runs completely fluid with absolutely everything at maximum for me with those older drivers.

I'm not sure where I'm going with this, I just didn't expect 3 month old drivers to run a near November release completely flawlessly.

I had them on standby in case the July release saw a huge loss of performance, but I've barely lost a frame.

I ran the BF4 beta with 314.07 w/o any issues once it got patched up it ran pretty smooth .
only issue is a pop-up saying your running old drivers .

Not sure how retail will work, just have to see but no artifacts with old drivers .

I'm using 331.58's with physx off, everything else maxed.. Gets me about 80fps.

This game runs amazingly well for me, everything maxed with 4x MSAA, 80FPS+.
99% 780 usage, 580 physx gets to about 60% maximum.

With GTX 670 and July's forceware is latest stable driver for you, i 1st would ask myself why and maybe its not the driver...weird enough, why is the new unstable?

My GPU heats like hell on this game. I get on normal physx, blur off, dof off, rest to max, with TXAA low, almost solid 75fps in the city, but in interiors with fights the fps drops to 40, i dunno why...it suppose to be more light in interiors than exteriors.

A Common fps drop is in pengiun ship fight, it does drop their massively with 3D Vision regardless settings however the problem is not hardware but UE3 engine.

In borderlands 2 there was an area that fps auto drop to 30 if u look at it, but if u look around fps goes back to noraml, UE3 engine need to die already.

I would say: Earth to Shadowduke :)

On-topic: OP, no performance difference whatsoever? How does Origins look with respect to Arkham City?

    Try turning ambient occlusion off.

Here's my settings. I found that turning TXAA to low and turning AO off give me better frame rates. I'm only about 10 mins in, but it a damn good looking game so far.

vsync is locking at 30fps for me.

I even disabled in game and used nvidia inspector to set vsync and it still does it.

although nvidia is vsync is smoother then in game vsync.

with it disabled, fps is going between 50-60fps with everything set to max.

Try adaptive vsync. That's what i'm using and it's not locking my fps.

That's how my TXAA looks too, that background is 3d. It's still so jaggy and full of crawling. I don't think it's working, which might explain why you have better FPS.

what kind of fps u were getting with low txaa and HABO+? ur card similliar to mine and i get usually 70+, some areas it dips down but that probably due to ue3 engine issues.

During the game on some scenes the game locks to 30fps and the gpu usage is down to 50%. It will go up to 60 eventually but it is very annoying. Tried the framerate target from evga precision for 59fps and 60fps but this causes terrible tearing even with vsync on (in-game). Also changed power management in nvidia settings to "maximun performance" but nothing happens. GPU stis dips to 50% usage frequently. Any help? Thanks
