Corsair M60 here. Wish it was bigger and yeah, snipe button is useless for me.

Other than that I happy with it. Seem to be more durable than Logitech's gaming mouses.

How are you finding the Sensei in comparison with all your mice?

To this day I'm still convinced that the Roccat Kone series is the most underrated mice on the market. If you're looking for a 518 type mouse upgrade and don't like the new Logitech ones -- try a Kone. The new ones are built like tanks and they feel incredible. Easily the best mouse I've ever used.

Iam right handed but I prefer to holding the mouse in my left hand , so I limit my selection to Ambidextrous mice.
Iam finding the Sensei to be the most problematic mouse I have ever owned.
I like its' performance and features, but the sensei does not like my hardware, every day or two the sensei send a message "Initialization of SteelSeries Engine failed. Please reinstall Engine and try again." Reinstall and 1-2 day later same message. I no longer bother with reinstalling. It may or maynot initialize. If I leave the computer unattended for 20 - 30 minute, it may stops detecting the Sensei and I have to unplug and replug.
I liked the feel of the LH Deathadder better than the Sensei.
But my problem with the LH deathadder was it had the mouse buttons reversed. All the computer I use have right hand button arrangements. I could switch the LHD buttons in windows but some games don't go by windows' settings, and revert back to the reversed setup. If the LH Deathadder had not reversed the buttons, It would be my primary mouse today.

Hmm, not had any issue like that with my Sensei, it might have a fault.
If you have a multimeter, check the 5V rails on your PSU.

Have you tried different USB ports or from a USB hub (not saying you should use one all the time, just to troubleshoot)?
Does it have the same issue on another PC?

    Razer DeathAdder 3500 dpi.

At first I didn't like it as it was awkward with my claw grip, but after a while I got comfortable using it.

Steelseries kinzu v2 pro. Changed from deathadder 2013. The kinzu is small, comfortable and really light weight, perfect for my fingertip grip. Was an awesome side grade.

I just bought a Savu, seems solid except for one tiny weird issue that might be solved with another mousepad. Need to look into it.

    Works ok on other PC.
The Initialization of SteelSeries Engine failed stopped after I updated my motherboard drivers, but I still had to replug to use the mouse.
Funny thing I do not understand is I upgrade my memory from DDR3 1600 to DDR3 2400 and the mouse is now detected on boot.

I've had this problem, but you don't really need the program cause you can do it all on the mouse. once you get all the setting you want on the mouse .. just uninstall the program. setting will be save as a profile on the mouse, can change in the lcd screen if needed.

also another fix.. if you use motion joy, uninstall that.. cause that was my main reason the I keeps getting "Initialization of SteelSeries Engine failed. Please reinstall Engine and try again"
