AMD Catalyst Mobility PowerXpress and Enduro Fix Drivers (13.11b)

I haven't that option and there is nothing similar to "enable brightness interface", this is what I see there.

After i installed the driver there is no switchable graphique option (it should appear under the "Power play")

its the first time this happen to me with your enduro fixed driver.
I have laptop with:
-Radeon 7670M
-Intel i3 2350M
-Windows 7

 

Can I enable Driver Signature Enforcement after installing the driver?

 

I can say, yes, but I only tested for modding my Elan touchpad driver, so I don't know how's it will happen with the graphic driver.
But I think the driver still will be used after you disable it.

 

Hi you need to disable DSE first before install this driver not after.... after that clean uninstall you previous driver after install finished restart even if not promted.... that's also happen to me i just restart it 2x and after that switch thing is back...

 

try restart the pc..if you haven't done already. I had the same issue right after installation. After restart everything was ok.

same exact thing happen to me... what i did is fresh install of LeeKM driver ask me to start then i restart it again total of 2x and the setting is back again... you can try it...

 

Just check out the "Enduro with Intel issue" thread, thats my issue .It's in the other section that is not for drivers apparently.

Ok, I would but I've already installed a random non-product code Windows 7 with which I'm probably gonna return it to the store with, I'm going to ask them to exchange it as I believe the GPU is defective. The laptop itself comes with Suse so... Even without Windows 8.1 it should've atleast worked properly once but it didn't... I gave up on looking for a software fix because I've tried almost everything I can think of and nothing has worked, thats why I asked for something I might've missed - everyone seems to be able to make it work and mine just doesn't deliver any performance compared to the iGPU(100 fps on iGPU, 5 fps on dGPU), I really do think it's defective.

And as I said - when running WEI the gpu crashes on Windows Media Decoding - the only way to get the notebook in working order again is to remove the power source and battery...

 

Did you has the WEI log?
I want to check the error code.

It is located at %SystemRoot%\Performance\WinSAT\winsat.log

 

LeeKM, did you try Hitman Absolution ?

With drivers posterior to 13.4 (or 13.5, I didn't test them), the game has lower performance. I checked CPU and GPU usage in-game:

13.11 (or 13.9, 13.8, etc...)

CPU: 60%
GPU: 70%
FPS: 26-27

13.4

CPU: 60-70%
GPU: 99%
FPS: 38 (34 with OSD)

I tried your 13.9 drivers few weeks ago, I didn't notice any improvement :/

That all right, as the WEI log don't help most of the time.

 

wow can't believe the fps difference is so large. Maybe some certain games have larger differences like this. I've generally found the 13.11b drivers to be ok for most of my games with decent performance (but I don't have Hitman Absolution like you).
But I also had a feeling that some older game's performance might be better on older drivers. (I backed up 13.4 in case I want to ever go back) So you should use 13.4 if that particular game is more important to you.

 

I already finished the game but I had a problem with my save and I have to replay the last levels.

It's not very important, but it's not a normal behaviour :/ And maybe it's affecting other games, and I don't want to test every game I'm gonna play with 13.4 and latest driver every time.
