For assault AEK, g3 and the Scar-L are my best rated guns.

Told people I didn't notice a big difference from Bad Company 2 besides graphics, got cursed out for the rest of the game.

Fun BETA though. Don't know why they wear camo. If they dressed in all gray, after the tower falls, they'd be damn near invisible.

There's quite a lot of difference actually. Depends, but if you play assault, there's quite big changes to a lot of the mechanics for example. Then there's all the new stuff, all the technical stuff too, all the gameplay changes etc.

True, guess I'm just not a big fan of the military shooter. You wonder down for about 2 minutes through a massive map until somebody either sneaks up randomly or snipes you across the map(or you do the same to them).

But it has it's fun moments. Probably just me being skeptical of how many are milled out every year that make me question the necessity of a new one so soon.

Best guns imo are the M416 and the AEK in BF3. M16 is the middle ground but with those 2 you can go for a certain style.

M416 is slightly more accurate but when done right you can go for perfect crisp headshots with it and waste targets faster then an M16.

AEK on the other hand, if the recoil is handled right, lacks pin point accuracy, but as soon as any body part is slightly more visible then "pin point" you can completely obliterate it in a second.

Tbh take the AEK if you're more open combat styled and aggressive and the M416 if you're more cover based. If I'm not mistaken, iron sights will zoom in a few milliseconds faster so get used to the AEK's sights.

Other weapons can sometimes be viable, but once you're up against a proper enemy (EYEBALLERS CLAN LOL), you need something that inflicts a certain dmg per second in your hands and not per shot.

Wondering how the final version of BF4 is going to run on my system. The BETA did not run that well..

I am not buying premium until then.

I'm surprised, what were your issues?

I was running it with beta drivers and crossfired 5850's on medium and it ran well.

Just upgraded to the 7870 so I can turn up the game graphics up.

I had all settings on ultra. Except for AA, it was turned off. :)

Tried some BF3 yesterday and it just felt... old. Probably not going to play as much in the next two weeks as I thought. Also, I hate jets. With a burning passion.

One thing im curious about is why dice didnt include different options as far as AA is concerned. They couldnt choose a less gpu intensive aa method or what?

Msaa is quite easy on gpu compared to some other AA modes. Then there's post AA, which is FXAA iirc. And then there's SMAA you can force via SweetFX. Also you have resolution scaling which is basically SSAA. So there's plenty to play with to achieve a good balance between IQ and performance hit.

Inauthentic my ass. If DICE did their research properly, they would of found out the RPG-7 can in fact can be equipped with a laser guided warhead. And decreasing the the lock on distance is just retarded. The cry babies win again.
