    That is so said news. Is is so said to read news like this. Even though you did not know him personally you steel feel like someone you knew very close is gone. His novels are so popular all over the world and I read them back home in Russia.

    man that sucks his books are the reason i started reading growing up would not even know how to read if not for him :( R.I.P.

    Wonder how many people actually read his books before Rainbow Six..That's not even near being one of his good ones!

    I personally am one of the few that enjoyed Red Storm Rising.

    That, and I don't think Rainbow Six was even near his best works. In fact, that is around the period where I think he started losing his talent (perhaps by virtue of being out of the field for so long?). His finest books in my opinion are "Without Remorse" and "The Cardinal of the Kremlin".
