I quote my comment from yesterday.
I can confirm that on WIN8 the game (BF4) works way better than on WIN7.
It runs smooth, with high stable fps and no stuttering (settings on Ultra).
With WIN7 I had fps drops and lots of stuttering (settings on Medium).

Thanks for the people here who encouraged me to install windows 8. Now I can see that all the bad reviews it gets are inaccurate. It's a great windows in my opinion.

I just might have a winning combo. I use WIN8 and Chrome and haven't had a single problem with drivers with either my GTX 680 or GT540m. One more day and I'll get my hands on the BF4 beta (no premium here).

very nice, good playable with these framerates. You can try so change the Resolution Scale on the left side. Resolution scale of 200% (100 standard) double the resolution per pixel axis, 4x SSAA.

    Anyone? :)

No compatibility state or other options in my BIOS that I see... and I don't know that it's the problem, either.

Wow resolution scale on 154% 2xMSAA gives a better picture of the game with 55-65 fps. videomemory go to 2800mb, and with 4xMSAA 3gb limit.

firefox has extended hardware acceleration other than chrome. the bug is that every scrolling and movement on a webpage can make the card jump into 3d mode and back again to 2d mode and so on, and there somewhere is the driverbug that can cause problems on some configurations.

i have freezes sometimes also without firefox :realmad:

Yup, because the resolution has become higher which is the SSAA, if you are playing Planetside 2 you can set and getting the same effect too. :)

Nvidia are you taking the pee, Still the Nvidia control panel stops responding, I'm sure this isn't hard to fix, Sure my card is abit dated the 560ti twin frozr but wtf Nvidia control panel has stopped working since 314.22 for me, I know you have a lot to do with bug fixes and optimization but at least make the driver usable to a basic extent for older card users, gamers do like to use there own preferences and i do prefer maximum performance over adaptive, how has this took so long to fix i know drivers change due to new cards but does the control panel change at all...., back to 314.22 "Again", this is getting beyond the joke now :bang:, Don't mean to rage but i paid a lot of money for my card when it came out and it seems like i'm being taken for a ride.

It was kinda working ok... Until today, where I went off the pc to do some stuff and the PC was on idle at that time, the screen goes on sleep mode, etc, etc. And when I waked up the PC, the screen was flickering and the colors was kinda messed up too. I tried to just restart the PC, but that didn't help at all.
I installed the WHQL(327.23) and everything is back to normal again.
For a moment there I though I lost my monitor or GPU or something.. but it turns out to be just the driver.

Didnt even tested this driver yet, cause BF4 Beta is running just fine with the last WHQL here. (Windows 8 here)

I am at a complete and total loss here with nvidia drivers. So far every single one has a different color calibration. The 326.80s had the best color and gamma for me.. now this new beta has terrible gamma that I can't seem to compensate for at all. Go back ot the 326.80s and the gamma is fine again.
Same thing happened with the 314.22s when I switched to the early 326s.

No problems here works fine on my system and games, looks good, good frames and the display switching bug for me is fixed again so happy camper here. Games are great when v-sync works right, easy on card too .... Don't know what there doin for v-sync but it seems to be workin alot better, my end anyhow .... Peace

Great drivers here so far. They are smoother than the 327.23 drivers..
