Anybody without sli problems?

 

Alien rage,State of Decay and battlefield 3,garbage in SLI.

 

:3eyes: What might this mean to MechWarrior Online? Of it's many performance issues (Crysis + multiplayer = ridicules CPU MHz requirement), turning off AO in the driver, all the way off, is the biggest and easiest to do.

 

I've only tested Battlefield 3 so far and it's running fine.

 

Set sli mode and reboot system. Everything ok?

 

I don't have SLi problem with these. BF3, Crysis 3, Payday 2, Metro Last Light.. All works nicely.

Note : I'm on Windows 8.1.

I have a problem with 3D vision if SLi is enabled though, but it's only with Windows 8.1. Refresh rate of some games (GRID 2 and Tomb Raider 2013 as far as I've tested) is buggy and I have to manually change refresh rate to something else, disable 3D vision from ctrl+c then enable it again, and it'll work ok then. No problem with 3D vision disabled.

BF3 still has the black/missing textures for me (every driver after 314.07!!!)

and now Crysis 3 is stuttering...

Back to 314.07

I just have to hope that the BF3 profile can work for BF4.

 

Manuel is this the beta which you said contained the BSOD fixes for the 400/500 series, or is that driver yet to come?

 

I install over top of old drivers, so there's no need to touch any settings. And I have rebooted twice since then. As I stated in my previous post, BF3 is running fine.

 

Download is very slow.
Only 50KB/s, can't remember the last time something 200MB took an hour to download

 

Just installed on my 680 rig and my 550ti rig. I'll let you guys know how it goes after a few days of usage.


Also: so I take it this is finally including support for OpenGL 4.4? OpenGL Extensions Viewer seems to confirm this.

 

If i set sli and run game - ok, it works. But if i go to restart OS, i got black screen (or freeze on black screen)

disabling CSM mode in bios and OK

i have w8.1 in UEFI

 

well, so far so good..Driver runs normal..nothing happened.
Tested firefox, FLash videos, DPC Latency, etc..and some games..

No problem or freeze so far..quite happy..

Gonna test BF3 later..But so far, perf is ok...Maybe a touch better then 326 series but cant tell..didnt test it enough..

Maybe Nvidia don't care about 460/560 owners any more?

Sucks having to still be using 314.22 on both my sons pcs.

One has a 460 and the other is using a 560 and they both still BSOD in any browser i try.

It's a shame cause these older cards could really do with the fps boost gained from the newer drivers.

When im tabbing out of games and back in, gpu-usage drops to under 10% and games are a lag show. Never had this before. Tested games Shadow Warrior and BF3. It seems that it doesnt get the memory usage from before i tabbed out..

And i still have this problem in BF3.. the driver 1st went very well, nice fps, but like every driver since months, after a few minutes of playing BF3 i loose more and more fps. I didnt have that before and also not at BF3 launch.

Im also using "prefer max power" in profiles.

Heres a pic with the tab-out drop, this was in BF3.

 

Decided to check that out and I can confirm the alt tab thing as well. I don't ever alt tab out of games, so it's not really a concern to me. But it definitely needs to be fixed. Only way to fix the low gpu usage is to close the game out completely and restart it.

 

Nvidia are a *** joke!

The company needs an overhaul in the driver department

So, no Arma III Optimizations?

 

I've just installed these drivers now and am about to test some games to see how they fare.

One thing I have noticed though is that AGAIN the NVIDIA SHIELD S-treamer service is set to run automatically when it useless for the majority of people who don't use or have no intention of using SHIELD. No-one wants redundant stuff installing on their PCs. Fine, install the service but can you PLEASE set it to MANUAL so it runs when it is needed?

This issue was mentioned months ago with an earlier driver and it still has not been changed.
