Ok ok card was hurt At least it was not one day and out....lasted 1 week...peacefull ending it went quietly.
Hii guys i need to share something about this marvell called gtx 780, in my own case this thing is the most stable and powerfull video card i ever have i am upgrading from a gtx580 sli and the 780 is better by far no stuttering no jumps in performance less heat less energy, i was worried about to spend this kind of money in this card but worth every dollar spended and i want to know if all the owners of a gtx 780 are so happy like me.
Just swapped my sli 580's for a 780 classified. Very happy with it plus case is a lot quieter and cooler now
I am getting ready to purchase two 780 classifieds. I heard EVGA switched from Samsung over to Elpsida(spelling) memory. Is there any truth to this? Does anyone know?
Guys does anyone knows please, if there is any PCB or any other hardware differences between the Palit GTX 780 Jet****** and Super Jet******? I believe the only difference is the bigger OC out of the box, but I have to be sure before I pull the trigger on either one. Thanks in advance.
New EVGA cards are rare in Australia but I've found one place that has 780 FTW cards so I might grab 2 at the end of the year. Although I heard the SC and FTW cards are still using Samsung memory.
Are you confirming or denying the rumor? *edit: Just found a post on EVGA confirming the switch. You may get lucky and get one with Samsung, but any new stock is going to be Elpida!! Do you guys think this really makes a difference??? I am actually getting excited to see what AMD has after seeing those charts posted the other day in FPN. Got bitten by the pc mod bug again I guess. Hopefully these next two gpu's will settle it down for a year or so.
Got both my cards water cooled now and adding the 2nd card into the loop hasn't raised the temp of the other water cooled card by much. Got cpu and both 780s in the same loop and temps are idle 26c and load running valley for 30 mins hit 55c and normal gaming or sing run of 3dmark11 temps are in the 45c range. Used XSPC blocks on the cards and EK block on the cpu all into a EK quad radiator.
Just slung it all together so still scruffy but its all working and temps are 26c idle and load after half hour of looping valley benchmark 55c
Anyone using sli ASUS GTX 780 DirectCU II,s in a Haf-X case just curious on system temps as i ordered 2 EVGA reference 780,s with 10% off, they could not supply them and they have offered me 2 ASUS GTX 780 DirectCU II,s for the same price..what to do? pull the trigger?
over ref cards ???? i would take them. It will run cooler the ref cards,i dont care if the air goes in the case from the custom coolers or not. Just make sure you have good case air flow and it should be just great. BUT amd has cards out in like 1 month????if you can wait to see how they are and if nv prices will drop, that might be the best idea.
