It seems HotFix 10 P6 v11.8 was working quite well for you. If you don't mind can you tell me what bugs you were experiencing previously before using the driver?

So the Graphic Card you are currently stuck on is the HD 6000 Series GPU?

Ok. This release will attempt to resolve the switchable graphics and red/green squares bug?

Yes, but I will prepare another release right after this one to specially assign your graphic card to WDDM 1.1 if the WDDM 1.2 Driver does not work as intended.

UPDATE FOR ALL SUPPORTED OS 09/20/2013
This Update intends to make the following changes.

    New Installation Guide:
    -Download and Extract the Driver
-Use both Cleaners in the Dx9 Switcher or (DDU, Display Driver Uninstaller)
-After uninstalling the driver, run AMD Setup
and Install the Driver as you would normally
-After installation is Complete, run the GPU Restarter
to load the driver into the System.

    Notes:
-Updated xFirefox Text Corruption Fix to resolve a bug in which
the appears to be working when it's actually not.
-Updated Package Cleaner as an attempt to clean up a few remaining
packages. (Broken Driver Removal, This should only apply to packages that become broken due to a bad install.
-AMD Video Transcoding was updated in the previous 11.8 driver to resolve an install bug for x32Bit Users.
-Updated the driver as an attempt to fix a bug resulting in Video corruption for Mobility HD 6000 Users.
-Continued attempt to resolve Missing Brightness Control for some Users.
-Updated Driver related components (HD 5000 and 6000 Users using a VGA Monitor should now be able to see the Image Scaling option located in "My VGA Displays."

    Note:
-Switchable Graphics Users should provide a detail feedback stating how the latest driver functions on their setup.

Hmm, that's strange as I'm using the files from the previous build that works for your setup.

Ok i will try again using DDU. In this case i use the both cleaners only. Post the result in a few hours. Good night :)

EDIT: Ok, so after uninstalling with DDU i re-installed the drivers succefully. I notice the red/green squares disappear at the moment, i will tell you if the bug re-appear again. I can't see the CCC by right clicking on the desktop and it does not start up with the system but it appear installed. What can be causing it? Sometimes i get an error after installation with amd setup

After Installing the driver Via AMD Setup the only problem you should see is the driver reporting an unsigned driver. That's normal don't worry about it. As for CCC the GPU re-starter is programed to not launch it

But you're stating on boot it does not start Up with the System. I will have to look into that as I currently do not have an answer.

    Other Thoughts
Are you able to Switch Between Video cards in the latest build?

So, you experienced a BSOD and could no longer boot up your computer?

This bug seems to occur occasionally I recommend attempting to install the driver again by running both Cleaners then proceeding to install the driver normally, then finally using the GPU Restarter after the driver installation.

    Also
Safe Mode Restore was not a necessary step that had to be taken.
Using both included Cleaners to uninstall the driver is the recommended step for users who encounter problems after the installation of the driver.

Between Did you Mean 11.8 or 10.8?

CCC.exe does not start with the system. I re.installed using the DDU with both cleaners also and i've got the same result, ccc does not appear. Any suggest?

Ok, I understand that ccc does not start on Windows Startup. What happens when you try to manually start ccc? Also what does your Device Manger look like?

Hi guys, I just registered on the forum to ask if a modder could mod the driver to include my mobility X300, preferably with a base on the latest 13.9 or 13.1 legacy. I'm currently running 10.2 so anything higher than that is welcome :)

So, I'm running 32bits Windows 8.1 because my CPU doesn't support 64 bit instructions. I was running windows 8 just fine with 8.12 (which were the latest available on windows update catalog for windows 7). I then upgraded to 8.1 final and installed the 8.12 again, of course. I then discovered that the computer won't show the login screen and therefore the metro screen if the Fast Startup option was enabled in Power Options. If I disable the option then no problems surface :)

Also, if I press Win+L (lock screen) the screen flickers for a sec after 10~15s and then it shows me the lock screen and I can use the computer just fine. This is clearly a problem f the display driver.

It is clearly a matter of drivers because I have less programs installed than before and the only thing that changed was the OS and if I disable the fast startup or run the computer with the microsoft basic display adapter driver then the computer runs fine.

I went on and followed a tutorial and installed 10.2 driver but the problem continues, so my hope is to get a newer driver (preferably the 13.9 which gives support for 8.1) and solve this problem. If it still won't go away, hell at least I have an updated driver.

Can you guys help me out by modding the driver?

here is my device info (I'm running under 32bit)

The 12.11 Modded Legacy Driver already supports your Graphic Card since V11.6. The most recent released builds are the 11.8 and 11.9... Follow the installation Guide to install the driver.

Also this driver is updated regularly and is already using Components from the latest 13.10 BETA.

To launch Catalyst Control Center manually, right click on your desktop then choose "Catalyst Control Center" in the Context menu.

You may need to do this Twice.
The first so Catalyst Control Center shows up in System Tray.
Then the Second would be to launch Catalyst Control Center.

    Thanks in advance :)
