No I won't "max" it if the in game AA is as piss-poor as it is in BF3 I'll just inject FXAA all other setting will most likely be ultra. If I have any slow downs I'll drop a few settings but I don't think I'll have to.

I'm sure you'll be ok. I think even I will be fine, with Ultra, but no AA and a couple of settings dropped down a notch.

I dont have any problem dropping a setting or 2 to keep 60 min fps. I would rather do than than play something and low fps to say I run a game maxed out. yuck

Alpha ran like **** on them 2*7970 dropping all over the place so really pointless to guess at performance based on that.

no offense to desgaizu, Dude you can’t compare to alpha to finished game. There are a lot of coding and optimizing to be done.

Please wait for a few weeks and then we should open a BF4 benchmark section to sort find how’s everyone doing.

Also I just pray that the game come out better optimized and coded for PC to avoid shatter and Lag. I think a 45-50 Fps is quite acceptable for most of us if a game can provide smoother game play.

Did you even read what I put?

I've said about a billion times that people should just wait for the beta instead of just random guesses and even people suggesting people buy certain hardware for a game they have not even seen in person.

BF3 runs like butter for me, you should change your renderaheadlimit if you have lag.

    Meh im fine.

Getting 90~120fps most of the time, with dips to ~80+fps (when **** happens) on 64 servers.

Even if your rig cant maintain 120fps all the time (mine cant) getting a 120Hz screen is golden. All games feel so smooth even if im getting 65fps. The difference is huge. I let my friends play on my rig with 60Hz and 120Hz and they all tell the same tale, once 120Hz is selected its gaming bliss!

    Specs:

    1080P@120Hz, 4x MSAA and All Max. (renderahead=1)

    i7 980X@4.4Ghz
    Cosair Dom@8.8.8.8 1T 1853Mhz
    TITAN@1.15Ghz

    Temps while gaming: ~46C.

If I remember correctly even the beta of bf3 ran like crap I hope that won't be the case again with 4.

what is that based on? It's not like Dice release ridiculously demanding games that run bad on everything. BF3 is pretty easy to max out, hell, I ran it fine on my years old gtx 480.

Alpha or not, i don't think it will be better upon release.

It can also be that the drivers aren't optimized yet.

It won't be that hard to max it out, maybe disable AA for MP to keep 50+FPS.

Yeah AA in BF is a big FPS hog.
